Last resort, maybe - Edit
The place does not have vegan options. The staff was quite unfriendly in general. There are indeed two options that happen to be vegan, but they are by accident. They won't be happy with you ordering the sides.
Read moreThey also reluctantly agreed to make the penne vegan, but you just get pasta without seasoning.
Definitely not a 4 star place. Stay clear unless you ran out of options.
Cons: Unfriendly, No real vegan option

Amazing rice! - Edit
We chose the bean rice and the vegetable rice (I think they had some other vegetarian/vegan options) and both dishes were amazing! They are located in the Side Dishes section so we thought they might be small but not at all! They were huge portions and super tasty! Some of the best vegan food I had in Açores! It was also super cheap, like 5€ each dish.

Pros: Really cheap, Really tasty, Friendly staff

Seafood restaurant with delicious vegan options! - Edit
Excellent service, our server was very accommodating. The bean rice and the vegetable rice didn’t seem like much when I ordered it (only $5 each), but by golly when those dishes came I was actually amazed!!! They were mouth-watering soupy rice dishes in beautiful clay pots. The flavor was delicious!!! For a seafood restaurant, it blew my expectations out of the water. The bread and olive oil was very good too😄They also have a veggie penne option that could be vegan but I didn’t try that. The house wine. Thank you restaurante mariserra!
