The food at recollets is simply delicious and the service was great. The creme brulee was so good and so close to what I remember a non-vegan creme brulee to taste like, I had to dubbelcheck that I was really at a vegan place. Worth every penny and we left extremely satisfied.

I came here with a friend and we were very excited to discover that this restaurant serves vegan versions of traditional Belgian dishes. We arrived at 2pm and asked if we could have a table, the waiter asked if we had reserved, to which we replied that we hadn't (there were many tables available), he then warned us we had to leave by 2:45pm as they close at 3pm, we agreed and he reluctantly told us to choose a table. We ordered the croquettes as an entrée and then we both had the mac & cheese, both dishes were delicious. However, the waiter seemed very annoyed every time he came to take our order or serve us, which made us feel unwelcome. The food was great but we had hoped for a more pleasant experience, especially considering the price.

The mac and cheese and lasagne were both amazing. This restaurant is more of a treat due to its pricey menu, however the food was wonderful and very filling. Desserts also looked great but we were too full to try any.

authentic fabulous experience. the Dame Blanche is to die for. we came twice in 2 days and highly recommend the vidée maison, the Trio of Croquettes Récollets. I reckon the whole menu is great, post whatever you liked coming here.

We went here as a treat and as much as it was a bit pricey, the food was amazing and worth it! I had a lovely ice coffee which could have been a desert it was so indulgent and also the mac and cheese which was lovely, although did not come with any sides. The decor was nice, sort of like a fancy French bistro, unlike any upmarket vegan restaurant I had been to before, overall very good if you want a fancier vegan meal out, but be prepared to spend quite a lot.

We stopped off here for lunch based on the reviews and were not disappointed. What a great atmosphere, and deco. We found the portions quite big and at least filling. We had mains and desserts. Friendly staff, yummy food, and went back the same day for dinner to try some more things on the menu. N

Great little place - 100% vegan. Tasty food, great beer - but small portions that are not cheap. Great variety of vegan cheese!!! All in all nothing that would make a Michelin / Gault Millau star but certainly above the average...

L'endroit est super ! La déco est original, le serveur très pro, nous y avons délicieusement dînés (lasagne vegan et vol au vent vegan) et nous y avons également prit le petit déjeuner le lendemain matin (couques aux chocolat, scone à la crème et sandwiches très originaux et bien garnies avec du pain frais, des bouts style poulet de la boucherie végétarienne et du parmesan végétale de Serotonina ). Nous y retournerons très certainement et nous vous le recommandons absolument.

Récollets offers fancy, high quality food for surprisingly affordable prices. The guy at the bar is friendly and recognizes you when you revisit, which is nice :). The little dog might be barking every now and then but this is never annoying (and I'm very sensitive haha!). Definitely HAVE to try the vegan 'cheese croquette', the best I've ever had! Beautiful salads, great 'mac and cheese', ... Really my go-to when I need some comfort food. The coffee wasn't good for me, but hey if that's the only downside :).

SUPER friendly service! Great food & drinks (the rosé especially). Small and cosy atmosphere, I felt like I could sit there all evening. Typical Belgian cuisine, veganized! The food was tasty, you could tell it was freshly made. The staff there were very friendly. 10/10, will definitely be going there again soon!

This place doesn’t look or feel like a typical vegan restaurant and that’s because it isn’t. They try to serve veganised ‘meateaters food’ and all we can say is that they are doing a great job!! We had the Macaroni Bacon, Crème Brûlée and the amzing cheese platter with cheeses from Serotonina. Everything we ate was very flavourful and we enjoyed it very much. Good and friendly service, great food and a super cute house-dog. We will be back (from NL) for sure as we have a new favorite restaurant!

Vegan paradise in Antwerp - Edit
This is my new favorite restaurant! They have great dishes, some Belgian classics, but all vegan. We tried a sandwich with vegan tuna, and the cheese platter with a glass of red wine. Everything was so delicious! And they have very reasonable prices as well. Definitely recommend this lovely place. Good news: they will soon also be open for dinner.

For all vegans that crave their cheezy fix, this is the place to be. I went there on two occasions, and had the Caesar salad and the cheese croquets. Both very tasty. Although the price is above average, the cost of the grade A ingredients is the reason behind this. Vegetarian Butcher products, Serotinina Artisan cheese. Well worth it!

Glamorous Mac ‘n’ Cheese - Edit
Elegant surroundings encouraged me to relax and treat myself. Several of my top choices were sold out so I went for the macaroni. Delicious crumb topping and a creamy cheese sauce with perhaps, if I was being really picky, a bit too much of the ‘bacon’ chunks. The salad is covered with a dressing that might do well on the side but I ate everything heartily. Strawberries and ice cream were great although again I felt the cream topping was a step too far. Best coffee I’ve found in Antwerpen. Was surprised to be charged for filling my water bottle (with tap water) on the way out.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I’ve been here a few times already and there’s still so much that I still want to try. All the things I’ve tried so far were delicious. The staff is great, the place is quiet and cosy, it’s not expensive and the desserts are amazing!!! The vegan cheese croquettes are definitely something you have to try. They are to die for!

We had lunch on a Sunday here and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the blu toast option which was delicious. I took the tiramisu for dessert which was really perfect. Well worth a visit if you are in Antwerp. Service was excellent and food came without delay.

Beautiful bar and all plantbased. We had the plate with chicken nuggets, springrolls and 'bitterballen'. Almost no difference with the meat version. They also have a cheese plate with 12 vegan cheeses. We tried 2: must try! The coffee is great. The pancakes tasted a bit too much like soy for me but my friend did'nt mind. Recommended!

Delicous food, cozy cafe - Edit
I spent a couple of hours here and really wished that I had been more hungry that day, because the food was really great. There were a lot of different things on the menu, but what really caught my attention was the cheese plate. This was an artisan cheese plate, all vegan, with brie, camenbert and several other cheeses. It was delicious! The cheese is made by a company in Poland and I have ordered some for home.
