Tasty vegan kimchi ramen - Edit
Girl working the desk was super nice, spoke English, and helped me pull up an English menu on my phone since they didn’t have one handy.
Read moreAnytime I can get vegan ramen or vegan kimchi, I’m gonna be happy, and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s a bit expensive, but that’s typical for Asian food in Kyiv from what I’m told. I do wish they would cut down on their plastic use, however.
Pros: Vegan kimchi ramen was delicious, Nice and helpful staff
Cons: Plastic use, Little spendy

Biscuit desert 10/10, maybe one of the best vegan desert
Read moreI had the English breakfast with vegan sausage and tofu scramble and couscous, both the sausage and the scramble were great, but too small inside the whole dish. 7/10
Cuba Pita, 5/10, they didn't write in the menu that's why garlic sauce. Also found out that they use honey in the mustard sauce
Cons: Uses honey

Nice food, poor service, non eco-friendly - Edit
Nice food options but mostly a really poor service- the staff is non competent (e.g. I asked to figure out does a particular option contains sugar, and 2 waiters gave me the opposite answers)
Read moreMostly food is packed in plastic . And yeah, they have significantly increased the prices so it’s not that cheap
Pros: Nice and mostly delicious food
Cons: Mostly food is served in plastic, Awful location (inside of Bessarabskiy market) , Bad service quality. Staff is non competent

tasty but - Edit
we had tasty wraps here but the customer service was really poor, the wait very long (online deliveries seeming to be prioritised over customers in the building), and we were short changed

Vegan Ramen - Edit
Delicious vegan ramen served inside buzzy Bessarabski Market. Sumasbrod also offer kombucha, wraps and sweet treats. I will definitely come back here during my stay in Kyiv.

This is a great street food outlet in the large indoor food market. The Cuban wrap I had was delicious and extremely good value. Carob coffee with coconut milk was yummy too

Tastiest pita so far - Edit
Visited this place several times. Bought two different pitas and they both were really delicious. I was quite happy to try Kombucha because it is the only place selling it I know. A dessert I tried also was delightful. However, couscous bowl "English breakfast" was too salty to my taste. And I don't really like the place of it. Hope, they'll add another location, somewhere fancier.)

The toasted pita sandwich was great. The chocolate pudding was great too. My gf had tomato soup, said it was good. However, I wasn't crazy about their lemonade.

Small menu, but mostly vegan - Edit
Sumasbrød is a friendly little shop with more or less the typical veg cafe menu of the region, plus some vegan desserts. The only downside is that many of the items (e.g. salads) are packaged in plastic (not eco-friendly). Service was cheerful.

Amazingly delicious food - Edit
I discovered Sumasbrod accidentally yesterday and this is now my fav place to eat in Kiev. Me and my sister both fell in love with this cozy place. We ended up coming back the same day there for dinner. We tried tofu and beet hummus wrap (the tastiest wrap I've ever eaten!), same thing on toast, another wrap with veggies, cookies, coconut balls and vanilla desert, which all were insanely good. We also decided to try combucha and were not dissapointed.
Read moreIn addition the staff was extremely nice and seemed very inspired and happy to tell us all about their menu options. We were left with very pleasant impression. Definatly will be coming back when in Kiev.

We tried out sandwiches with the seitan sausage and the one with beetroot hummus and they were both delicious. Also was very curious to try ukranian combucha and I really enjoy it . Price was good too , definite recommend!
