Decent for vegan groceries but no take-away food options

I've been coming to this market for 7 years and every time I hope to see some vegan take-away options but am constantly disappointed. You can at least find the normal grocery staples like crackers, hummus, yogurt, etc, but none of the bakery items (cookies, muffins) or soup, sandwiches, etc are vegan. There are some frozen entrees / burritos if you want to heat something up. For a Natural Foods store, it's really disappointing they don't offer any vegan prepared food! Vegan options in Juneau are surprisingly limited so, disappointingly, hummus and crackers come in handy.

Pros: Vegan grocery staples , Easy walk / right in town

Cons: Zero vegan prepared foods

Good Little Grocery Store

It’s a small store with many vegan options to purchase like make up, yogurt, and jerky. The grab & go lunch options are not vegan unfortunately.

Good selection

I was going camping and worried I wouldn’t be able to grab some vegan marshmallows for toasting, but they had them! It IS small, but Juneau is a small, remote town, and they do a good job with their selection. I also bought a last-minute menstrual cup here which was a lifesaver. I’ll definitely be back through on my next camping trip to Juneau.

My shopping stop in Alaska

Lots of vegan products and ethical household items. Walking distance from port.

Cool Products

Not just food, but lots of products (beauty, health) are vegan/vegetarian. Do recommend!

Pros: Beauty/Health Products, Full Grocery-Store, In-store dining

Cons: Expensive , Limited Range of Brands

NOT vegan-Friendly at all

We stopped by hoping to be able to have a cup of coffee and some pastry. None of the pastries were vegan: everything had butter eggs and milk. Sure, it's a health food store, and there are a few requisite vegan staples: there was silk soy milk, soy yogurt, and a few other vegan items but this is not a place to stop and eat.

Pros: easy walk from port

Cons: nothing vegan

Clean and friendly

Store was well organized, clean and bright. Good selection, also had a very nice supplement/beauty nook. Staff and patrons alike very friendly. Not as many veg/vegan options on lunch buffet as one would expect at a health food store. Chicken, fish, cream soup w bacon??
Prices were higher than I am accustomed to paying, but being outside continental US may definitely have to be taken into account.
Parking lot is one way and no good signage to indicate how to best enter. Advice when approaching along 4th from Main, go past store, turn Left at next block, turn in BEHIND building.

Pros: well organized, inviting, friendly

Cons: bit expensive, meat on lunch buffet, awkward parking
