Awesome Korean food

Before this place, just had 1 bad experience with Korean food.. but this place was amazing. I took advice from other reviews and told the server we were vegan. That really helped. We had mung bean pancakes and bibimbap. Loved everything! My mouth waters just thinking about the food! I just wish they had vegan kimchi

Staff is knowledgable and helpful

Before you order, tell the server that you are vegan!

I was a bit intimidated by all the meat on the menu at first, but my server was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in their foods and was happy to help me out. I ended up getting a stone bibimbap (which is vegan if you just don't get the egg on top), and that came with a vegetable soup.

When another staff member brought out the banchan side dishes, they told me which were vegan without me having to ask, and they also explained why the others weren't. The main ingredients in the three vegan sides were tofu, potato, and bean sprouts. They brought out three rounds of the sides, and upon request they gave me an extra spoon so that we could distribute the vegan sides without mixing everything together. (Mostly just out of sanitary interest)

The food was very enjoyable; I liked everything that I ate. The tofu was a particularly good side dish. I would get this same meal again sometime.

For comparison: You can get a similar meal at Bowl'd, which is a bit less fancy and a few dollars cheaper, although I believe 5/6 sides there are vegan, compared to 3/7 here.
