Love all the vegan sweets options! - Edit

I love getting a vegan treat with my coffee from coffee hub! We’ve tried their cookies, doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, and other rotating baked goods! All have been delicious! Some are a little sweet for my liking, but they are all yummy for the occasional treat!

Go-to spot for vegan treats - Edit

My wife and I visit the Dayton area frequently to visit family. We always make a point to visit Purely Sweet to satisfy our sweet tooth while we are here. The strawberry donuts & cinnamon rolls are delicious and they also offer pre-made cakes & cupcakes in the bake case in the back of the store in case you ever need something for a gathering.

I love their cake donuts!! Will drive 40 minutes to have them! - Edit

I’m not a person who craves sweets often but at the beginning of the year my family were having a get-together and someone wanted baked goods. So I looked up vegan bakery’s and I discovered Purely Sweet. I drove 40 minutes from where I live and grabbed a variety of donuts and cupcakes. They were an absolute hit with everyone! And now I know a place when I’m in the Beavercreek area to get great vegan baked goods. I’ve gone back three more times since then and I grab a few to put in my freezer for those rare occasions I want a sweet snack.

Liked it, didn’t love it - Edit

3.5 stars. Purely Sweet is a dedicated gluten-free (celiac safe) bakery, and several of their baked goods are vegan too. The Beavercreek storefront is located in a cute little cafe called Coffee Hub, and you can get a nice vegan coffee to go with your baked treat. I was delighted to see so many vegan options - donuts, cookies, oatmeal creme pies, whoopie pies, cupcakes and more. I tried 4 donuts - the strawberry, pumpkin, birthday cake and the tuxedo donut.

Loved:
-The strawberry donut. Get it.
-All the treats are so PRETTY! Beautifully decorated.
-They do custom vegan cake orders including wedding cakes!

Liked, didn’t love:
-Dense, heavy texture of all the donuts. (I know these are baked cake donuts, so I wasn’t expecting a fluffy raised/ fried donut texture… Still. I guess this is because it’s gluten free in addition to being vegan).
-The frosting was a little too sweet, sticky and thick for my taste.

TIP: Check out the Purely Sweet self-serve counter at the back of the store for even more treats and packaged options.

Delicious 😋 - Edit

Located in a cozy cafe. A little odd that the bakery has a tiny help yourself spot in the far corner, but no worries they have goodies at the counter too. Oatmeal pie pairs perfectly with coffee. The cinnamon roll is my favorite, but cinnamon is one of my favorite spices. Bon Appétit!
