Went there on a Monday (not holiday) at 19:30 and it was closed (maybe even permanently). What a waste of time to look for it. I had been excited for the cheese cake all day!

Located in the underground maze of GT Land Plaza, this place isn’t easy to find but definitely worth the hunt. The staff is super friendly and their all-vegan food is next level. True to their name, Pure Sue dishes out pure vegan food that doesn’t only satisfy your tastebuds but is made with high-quality, organic ingredients. From fresh salads and double-patty burgers to raw cakes and flavor-packed bliss balls, you’ll find everything your heart (or rather your stomach) desires. The true winners, though, are Pure Sue’s chocolate and orange cupcakes – the perfect sweet treat topped with fluffy coconut cream.

Amazing food, good prices - Edit
To be fully honest, I walked around for so long trying to find this place that by the time I found it (go to the bottom floor and into the Food Garden) I was so frustrated and tired that if the food wouldn't have been great I would've probably left a horrible review. But the food was simply great. I had a burger, which came with a side salad and was so surprisingly good - double patty, fresh, and tasty. I also ordered a slice of the cheesecake they had available - coconut that day - and it was so good I had to take another to go.

The lady taking my order was so delightful and even offered me some of the homemade cookies they had.
I actually can't wait to come back to Guangzhou and go back to this place!

Lovely staff and affordable food - Edit
I went there several times for both Chinese and Western food, drinks and desserts, and was never dissapointed. Very affordable, homemade milk teas, great salads, soups, pasta... all you can think of. It’s a bit hidden in the shopping mall next to a juice store, but definitely worth a visit.

While the quality of the products and the presentation cannot be argued with, it is really too pricey for the common man. Being prepared to splurge, we were still taken aback by the upscale pricing (3" basic cheesecake for 28 RMB in 2015). Otherwise, no complaints :)

Pure sue is a small vegan cafe located in the Mall of the World/Guangzhou.
Read moreI really enjoyed having a cheese cake there - deliciously made with high quality products. They also offer vegan muffins and cookies as well as some vegan products. Unfortunately they seem to not have the lunch option anymore.
I wish there were more cafes like this in Guangzhou!

Cheesecakes Galore - Edit
At Pure Sue they have six different cheesecake flavors each day and they cycle through about 50 different flavors. If you make a large order in advance you can get whatever flavors you want. They are delicious raw vegan cheesecakes sweetened with maple syrup and dates, no unhealthy sweeteners here. They use many organic ingredients and have started baking some cookies as well. I stop by there most weekends to enjoy a cake or two.
