A Place To Just Be .... - Edit
We visited Ely for the first time recently and thankfully, we had checked Happy Cow beforehand because otherwise, we would not have found out about Prosper. Not sure what to comment on first, or which deserves the biggest accolade - the food, the ambience, the staff, the service, the asset to the community, the wellbeing aspect. So let's put all of them together and say excellent in every respect. We'll definitely return and if we can use the words of something said to us while we were there "It's a Place to Just Be ...."

I’ve been meaning to visit Prosper for ages and it was even more amazing than we could have hoped! The food was incredible and made with so much love and care. Finally had time to pop in on my way to work. Lovely selection of cakes and treats - highly recommend the cinnamon bun which was served warm. Selection of plant milks for hot drinks. Will return for sure!

Nice atmosphere and obviously a very active well-being centre. I liked the large array of books you could borrow to read whilst in the cafe. I had a porridge special with fruits, seeds etc. menu is healthy and flexible. Owner very friendly

Hidden gem in Ely - Edit
We were visiting our niece in Ely on a trip from Scotland and we found the amazing Prosper cafe in Ely. We had their Prosper Ploughmans and Prosper Platter, both of which were delicious and very good value. The staff were all amazing and very kind.

I had the mushroom melt special and my partner had the cream cheese and pastrami bagel. Both were incredible! The flatbread used for the mushroom melt was perfectly toasted and great flavours all round, paired with a sweet and fresh side salad really made for a perfect lunch😄

We stopped here whilst on a trip to Ely for lunch and a snack. The menu has plenty of choice-although no everything was available-and there were lots of baked sweet treats on the counter too. The coffee was pretty good and the cinnamon bun was great. Good service and such a nice, chilled vibe, sad this isn’t on our doorstep. Highly recommend!

To have a fully vegan cafe in Ely is fabulous. The atmosphere is intimate and very welcoming. The menu offers light, healthy options and the cakes are a real treat. This cafe is great for everyone and I applaud its ethos.

Love everything about this cafe. Such a lovely, chilled out place to go where dogs are welcome and all food is 100% vegan. Since our first visit we couldn't wait to go back and will most definitely be regulars. Rachel and Phil are the perfect hosts and everything is prepared with such care and attention to detail. Lovely range of hot and cold drinks and snacks but also options for a wholesome lunch (and cake, of course). The jacket potatoes exceeded all expectations - served with a large, tasty salad....and the option of minted mushy peas as a potato filing...unique and absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommended.
