Authentic Italian pizza made vegan - Edit

It is a tiny store that sells pizza by slices (also have some empanadas) runt by Italians. And it can be seen in the pizza quality. Also the veganized options are very surprising, including the one with vegan tofu sourcream topping. So good!

It is mostly take away but has a separated room if you want to take a seat.

Pros: supreme!

5 Stars! - Edit

Too bad I can’t give 5 stars, because I would. What the other pizza place lacked, this one had and more. I ate a slice with truffle cream, mushrooms and aubergine and an olive Focaccia, my friend had a meaty slice. It was some of the best pizza we ever had!

Pros: delicious , inexpensive

Cons: not fully vegan

Delicious - Edit

The food is really good. They had 2 vegan foccacias and 2 vegan pizza. We were really early so couldnt try the calzone yet. Especially the foccacia was really nice and tasteful. For 4 slices and 2 icetea we only paid 12 euros and we were completely stuffed til dinner! Didnt like the cookies that much though, but my friend did.

Tasty and cheap - Edit

I loved this place! There were four vegan options when we went, including focaccias and a calzone. I got a focaccia slice with mushrooms and a tofu sauce, and a vegetable calzone, which cost under 5 euros. They warm the food up for you and it's perfect to eat in or take away. Great tasting food and very cheap.

Pros: Quick and helpful service, Great taste, Value for money

Many vegan options, Great pizza - Edit

For a pizzeria in Lisbon, this one has a lot of vegan options! I really liked this one, the food is very tasty. I feel like they cook it with passion because they have very creative pizza toppings. I discovered this place after a good 2-hour walk and it was the best reward ever!! :)

Pros: Many vegan options, Very tasty food, Good price

Cons: There're still non-vegan options :P

Heavenly pizza! - Edit

After a scenic stroll to find the place, we were given a warm welcome and the owner talked us through the vegan pizza options - I went for a slice of tofu tartiflette-style pizza and half a slice of a roasted vegetable one, which she then cut into half a dozen mini slices for me and I devoured them all in no time at all - for all the pizza and a bottle of beer cost me €5, so you don't have to break the bank to eat amazing food here

Pros: Amazing pizza , Friendly staff , Vegan choices have had love and effort put in

Cons: No seating - takeaway only

it's ok! - Edit

I came by here really eager to try their vegan flavors but it was not really special. The calzone was good but the dough and the flavors on the actual pizza were not that appealing. I enjoyed the pizza at Romana al Taglio much more.

Cons: dough, flavor, price

Finally some vegan pizza - Edit

Finding vegan pizza is not that common. I walked into this place expecting a long wait but was surprised they already had some vegan options prepared. This included focaccia pizza, tofu pizza and calzone. Great place and service, price is cheap.

You should try the vegan calzone for sure! Small place to sit and eat, but good for a quick (delicious) pizza.

Pros: different vegan options

BEST PIZZA EVER! - Edit

For those vegans out there, who crave eating pizza, this place is a must!

I am not a pizza lover, to be honest, but it's nice to go somewhere and have pizza options for a vegan and they were quite good!

I had several options available and loved them all. The place is quite small, so there's a room next door, where you can sit and enjoy a quiet meal with friends. My friends and I had the room for ourselves, so it was really relaxing, while enjoying a super tasty meal!

Pros: Excellent Food, Several vegan options, Good Value

Cons: Too small

A melhor pizza vegana - Edit

O ambiente é agradável e as pizzas são muito boas. Sempre com opções veganas, pizzas ou calzones. O preço é muito bom. A focaccia simples, sem molho de tomate, é espetacular!

As melhores pizzas veganas do mundo *-* - Edit

A-d-o-r-o. Ninguém é deixado de fora com as pizzas veganas, que são deliciosas e plenas de sabor. Até hoje são as melhores pizzas que já comi, e os preços são bastante acessíveis. Aconselho vivamente.

cheap and tasty vegan pizza - Edit

and very friendly and beautiful people in there as well
Just: the vegan pizza is just like a pizza without cheese. Still good, but I like it better with one of the many vegan cheese options.

Pros: cheap, tasty, friendly

Cons: no vegan cheese

The best Pizza in Portugal - Edit

I've been totally obsessed with Primo Basilico's Vegan Pizzas since I tried them, 1 year and a half ago, been there more than 20 times during this period.

They always have 1 or 2 vegan options (and at least a couple of vegetarian options as well) and they are usually awesome, my favourites being the Seitan Bolognese Calzone and the Zucchini, Red Onion and Sweet Potato pizza.

I've eaten quite a few vegan pizzas all over the world, but I'd have to say that Primo Basilico would probably easily be in my personal top 5 (or maybe even top 3.. #1 has to be viva herbal pizzeria in NYC)

Note: Just 4 cows because HappyCow doesn't allow 5 for a veg-friendly restaurant.

Amazing veg and vegan pizza - Edit

As an Italian I'am really impressed with the pizza these two Italian guys make and as vegan really glad to find such a big choise of toppings aimed for the cows friends. Excellent those with cheekpea cream and tofu cream. Amazed with the arancina filled with caponata! Absolutely recommended!

A verdadeira pizza al taglio de Lisboa! - Edit

O Primo Basilico veio a Lisboa e revolucionou totalmente a nossa vida!

Porque?

Primo Basílico has come to Lisbon and a foodie revolution is on the menu!
What happened?! Well, he has brought to Alfama, in Lisbon, what we Italians call "pizza al taglio" - pizza by the cut. Eating authentic Italian style.

A taste for traditional Italian cooking and a concern for sustainability are the main ingredients. So while Primo Basilico brings Italian taste, he makes the base from local ingredients. Tutti freschi!

Besides our pizza, be tempted by Primo Basilico's selection of many authentic Italian gastronomic specialties, savoury and sweet.

A special attention for always having more vegetarian and vegan options, since we the owners are vegetarians too :)

So come to Rua dos Remédios 37 in Alfama, close to the Fado Museum, for a feast on the eyes and taste buds at the kitchen of Primo Basilico!

Pros: excellent food, veg-friendly, good value
