We were staying nearby in Belleville, and went to Primeur for our last evening meal in Paris. What a lovely restaurant, close but not too close to a main avenue. We had the bo bun, the bo primeur, and sides of nem and tempurah broccoli. All excellent and excellently prepared. The frites with the bo primeur sandwich were fantastic! Their house red wine was also great and very reasonable in price, as was the chocolate mousse desert. This is a low key restaurant but perfectly captures the vibe of the Belleville neighborhood. Definitely go visit!

Small café tucked away in a small lane opposite the belleville metro serving delicious vegan food. I had the penne arabiatta which was filling and tasty but what others ordered looked much more interesting. I especially love their ginger and lemon drink. I don't think it's tea. It's similar to a warm lemonade with ginger. That was very soothing.

Wir waren zu zweit, hadern mit der Sprache und wir wurden herzlich in Englisch aufgefangen. Tranken französisches Pale Ale für 6,50 € (sehr lecker) und aßen die Lasagne (serviert mit Salat) und den Veggie-Burger (serviert mit Fritten).

The food made me say "ohh, la la!" - Edit
This was a very neat little restaurant situated on a side alley that cars do not drive down. We went here for dinner and sat next to the big picturesque window. Was very romantic and movie-like, for those of you who enjoy that type of feeling...which I totally did. We ordered several items off the menu...falafel, vegetable galette, cauliflower, leeks, hummus, and everything was outstanding! We did pass on the bread options which were not made with whole grains, and on the raw desserts which had sugar in them (booo-hoo). The young woman working there was super patient, kind, helpful, and funny. Was a terrific experience, and I hope to go again one day if ever I find myself hungry in Paris.

Les plats sont très bons, j'ai déjà goûté les lasagnes et le couscous. En dessert, le cheesecake est à se ROULER par terre tant il est frais, fondant et croustillant sur le dessus. Le seul bémol est que les portions sont petites, mais sûrement parce que les ingrédients sont de qualité ! J'y mange avec beaucoup de plaisir, mais je dois compléter avec un petit truc salé chez moi (j'ai un bon appétit). L'accueil est très simple et sympathique.

Everything my friends and I tried here was amazing: the lasagne, burger, bo bun and desserts. The staff is beyond nice which only added to the experience (they held the last burger aside for us as they knew one of us really wanted it but we were still waiting for a member of our group!). Definitely going back.

Read moreI had a bowl (fogot the name sorry) and a cheese cake. I found the prices slightly expensive (15€ for the bowl, 6€ for the cake) but portion sizes were good and it was really delicious.
Service was very friendly as well which is always a nice surprise in Paris
