Very nice restaurant with the best view and really nice staff. They cook everything fresh when you order and the food is really good! Went there a couple of times, open only during the day when we stayed on Koh Phayam

Not only fried vegetable - Edit

During the last months traveling trough Thailand, most days I end up with “Pad Pet”. Thankfully we found Pom’s Place where you get a whole vegetarian menu with variety of delicious dishes. The dishes are clever and not just the side dishes to some meat or fish as I’m used to eat here in Thailand. Also the fruit-drinks are not loaded with sugar syrup but natural sweet and refreshing.

Tasty Veg Menu! - Edit

Pom’s place is a delightful, quiet spot, right on the beach and just north up the road from the pier. There’s two menus, one entirely veg (though a few items include oyster sauce, and eggs). Prices are very reasonable - lower than the other tourist-serving restaurants on the island’s main roads. Pom and her partner are also amazing. There’s genuine kindness and warmth from them, you won’t feel like just another patron. They talked with us while we ate about how the island has developed in the last decades, what life is like there, etc. They asked us about our home and our lives, (something no other host has done here in 6 days) and expressed real gratitude that we came by for a meal.

Highly recommended! My favourite pad thai, and in my opinion, the most tastefully cooked tofu dishes on the island

Cons: Far from popular Ao Yai beach

Delicious and beautiful food in serene atmosphere - Edit

We were on the quest to find good quality vege food in Kophayam and luckily we found Pom's Place. Pom, the owner is very friendly. She speaks english, and she seemed very happy to chat with us during our meal. The food there is delicious. First we took Pad Thai, and fall in love for good. We stayed 5 days in Kophayam and every day we were eating there. We didnt want to change the restaurant! Pom was preapering beautiful, and tasty food every time. We had tried many local foods. Tottaly recommended
