This place is great for healthy food served quickly. There were many vegan choices to go at. I wasn’t sure what to order so I asked the server if a particular combo would be sufficient for two adults and she said yes. She didn’t try to upsell which was nice. We both had soft drinks also which are unlimited refills . So it’s really good value too.

We shared the Mezze Experience which had a large portion of dips (hummus, muhammara, moutabal & baba ganoush), dolmas, olives, pickles, falafel, cauliflower shwarma and sabih - it came with a variety of flatbreads and crackers. The food was really tasty and everything was freshly prepared.
Read moreThey are 100% vegetarian able to make adapt everything to be vegan and in this case asked us with what we wanted the usually halloumi replaced with. Price was good and inline with other restaurants in Brussels.

We went here with a group of about 20 people (with reservation ofc) and they were very accommodating and handled it so well. Water and lemonade you can get unlimited amounts from the tap if you pay once which is a great concept. I had the cauliflower plate and it was really tasty. The hummus was really good too, I’m a bit picky about hummus but you could really tell that this one was good quality.

Had the cauliflower flatbread wrap which was delicious, wasn’t as big a fan of the aubergine one but the bread was really nice and the ingredients were fresh. A nice atmosphere if you want to eat in and lovely staff but easy to take away and walk around the city with.

We had the combination of 4 dips and an additional hot sauce. The sauce portion was very small, but very delicious. We liked 3 out of the 4 dips, and we missed some flavour/spices in general.

Not anything negative to say about my meal here…. Ingredients were clearly fresh and high quality, and everything tasted delicious. I had the cauliflower shawarma plate which came with hummus, salad, roasted sweet potatoes, beetroot salad, barley couscous, olives and additional garnishes.

Per l’acqua si paga 3€, ma si può bere quante volte si vuole essendoci un distributore di acqua filtrata.
Se non fossimo stati lontani con l’alloggio, saremmo tornati anche il giorno successivo.
Cibo facilmente digeribile anche se agliato e speziato.

We really enjoyed being there, also because there is a lot of sun on the tables outside in the evening. It's located in the center of brussel on a big square. The food was really tasty, but the quantity was really not too much with regard to the price. Anyways, it was authentic and they also had good drinks! We'd go there again, maybe with less hunger😄

Be aware of the olives as they come with stones! I would love it if they chose to get rid of them before serving the dishes in the future.

Pretty disappointed to see a fellow vegan customer complain about finding a hard boiled egg in their meal. But I was shocked to see how the staff reacted. Rather than recook the dish or offer a refund, the staff scooped the egg out of the dish with their bare hands and simply handed it back. Didn’t even wash their hands before doing so.

I had a vegan bowl with lots of different things. Everything tasted really fresh (except maybe the flatbread), I really enjoyed the food here. The falafels might be some of the best ones I’ve tried in Brussels. The price for one bowl is quite high though (~18€).

Most dishes are vegan or can be easily made vegan. The presentation on wooden shovels is beautiful. The fried cauliflower and red pepper dip were particularly delicious. The only disappointment was the malabi for dessert. It tasted like eating coconut oil.

Small diner with good food. Has a lot of vegan options. If you like to have a proper „fast“ and tasty meal this is perfect. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you wanna have a quiet place with a private atmosphere as this is more a diner than a restaurant. I’d definitely come back.

We’re well aware we’re not the cheapest option, but serving quality local produce sadly still comes at a hefty price in Belgium. There are definitely more affordable options in the area, but they are not on the same mission of sustainability as we are.
Apart from our dishes with Berloumi (a local Belgian halloumi cheese), our entire menu actually is or can be turned vegan easily. We will definitely make sure to communicate this more clearly in the future! 🤗

I can see that there are a lot of varying reviews for this place, but I had a great experience. I had the chef's plate, and it was truly delicious. So many different components with so many different flavors. The falafel is great and properly made, and the hummus and the rest are wonderful. They have different bottled beers, including their own session ipa, which is quite decent.

Where to start?! Maybe with what brought us here : the food!
Read moreFlavourless, not fresh and cold is how I would describe it. The different elements that compose the plates are obviously made (way too long) in advance and overpowered with garlic. Even the few herbs here and there don't bring flavours to the dishes anymore as they've been left to their own devices for hours (maybe days?) before being served. The roasted eggplants and cauliflowers are served cold and all the flavours on your plate are so bland that they actually blend into each other. Even the hummus was tasteless, a shame for a place called Pois Chiche. I really don't like to leave this kind of reviews but this place really needs to lift its game with its flavours, spices and recipes!
As for the service, well, there isn't any! You order at the counter, you clean your table. I don't mind it at all but I'd expect to pay way less than 17 euros per plate with that kind of business model. I'd also really appreciate for the staff not to chew their dinner whilst taking your order. Having an half eaten plate on the counter next to the till is not really very professional nor is it appetising for the customers.
I would not go back there!
