Poeyfarre Market - Edit
Stopped in to buy supplies while staying in the area for a conference. Among other things I bought some prepared grape leaves. I only ate one since they tasted a bit off but it was enough to [edit by staff - see ToS].

Locally Owned down to Earth Real People - Edit
This is a locally owned family owned store in the Warehouse District of New Orleans. It has all the essential items of a large grocery store without the hassle. Over the past few years it has evolved into a gem. The owners always greet you with a smile and go above and beyond to help. They also just started serving lunch during the week and I am obsessed with the Shrimp Banh Mi! You can grab a nice bottle of wine or local brew too. Love love love this place!
Pros: Locally Owned, Great Selection, Super Friendly Staff
Cons: No Parking, Limited vegan options, Wish sandwich shop was open Saturday and Sun

erm.. - Edit
I respect that the business is young, but the market is pretty underwhelming. It's very tiny and outrageously overpriced. Like $5-for-1-lb-of-baby-carrots overpriced. If you're at the morial convention center and have NO other options, maybe go grab a luna bar. None of the premade items are vegan, nor I think vegetarian.
Pros: respite from conference food
Cons: very expensive, very limited selection
