Chik'N Sandwich Meal - Edit
This was my first time going to PLNT Burger. I ordered the Crispy Chik'N Sandwich, Crispy Herb Fries, and the Strawberry Dragonfruit drink. The food tasted great, but the service was just okay.

Its ok - Edit
Visiting from hawaii, I tried the cheeseburger, 12 pc chicken, and sweet potato fries. The cheese burger was good, the flavors of the cheese was great, but amount of bun seem a little too much (unless there was more burger). The nuggets were good, and the sauces seemed crucial for non-vegan counterparts. The fries, idk what they did- but I wasn’t particularly a fan personally. The staff started the cooking from fresh once I got there. I appreciate their expedient work and effort- but I think the product is just fair and they could do better with the amount of burger and reworking the sweet potato fries unless It was just an off day- but just doesn’t hit like others places. I think it’s fair, could be better in my opinion.

Good! - Edit
So, if I’m honest, I’m just impressed that DC has so many vegan options. This place was good, but not as good as HipCity.

Excellent Meal - Edit
I enjoyed the meal entirely. I got the mushroom bacon burger and the milkshake and I was emotional because I miss having fast food but I rate it 4 cause it was expensive.

Pretty good - Edit
This small burger place located within Whole Foods has a fully vegan menu! We got take out and had to walk back to the hotel, so overall the burgers were pretty good but would have been better fresh. The chili fries were super good and so was the mushroom/BBQ burger. Definitely a good option when looking for a quick meal!

Fast Vegan Junk Food inside WF - Edit
Ordering station towards hot foods, quick service.
Read moreOrdered the swirl soft serve, No. 6 (Vegan Chick’n Sammy), and Sweet Potato Fries.
Yum on the Sammy without sauce, and the soft serve. The Sweet Potato Fries had too much seasoning for me liking.
It’s rad it’s near a Doggo park and newer development- I’d totally come back minus I’d try their traditional fries instead.
Pros: All Vegan/Plant-Based Vegan Comfort Junk Food, Near Newer Development Area w/Outdoor Seating, Streamline Establishment inside Whole Foods
Cons: Spendy

Solid burger joint in convenient location - Edit
PLNT burger always provides good meals for everyone. Their concept to open inside Whole Foods is unique and easy if you are shopping. With that being said it would be nice to have a full restaurant to enjoy #Veganuary

Great comfort food - Edit
Their chik'n dippers are always great, and I love their milkshakes. The milkshakes are quite thick, but still really tasty. It's a great option when you're craving junk food.

Holy wow - Edit
Best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Chick fil a doesn’t even come close. Do not miss it. Other highlights: chili fries, soft serve, drinks and the wide range of sauces. #Veganuary

Solid fast food option - Edit
The sandwiches are huge and messy (in a good way). The maple mustard was really good too. The fries could have been a little more salty but I would definitely go back!

Fast, convenient, and tasty - Edit
The Chik'n funguy was quite good as was the PLNT burger, though just a good beyond burger. The seasoning on the sweet potato fries was 🔥. Unlike a lot of vegan restaurants I've tried that does mock meats, this was not too salty.

Great burgers 🍔 - Edit
I keep going back for the burgers! Absolutely delicious and the prices are pretty good, particularly for Navy Yard/Capitol Hill. Service is excellent and portions are decent.
Read moreThe fried items (hash browns, blooming onions) are way too fried. Avoid these, they won’t taste great and won’t settle well in your stomach. BUT the rest of the menu is absolutely worth trying. My favorite: double cheeseburger!

Didn’t quite meet expectations. - Edit
I recently discovered PLNT Burger through Happy Cow and had extremely high hopes for replicating the fast food experiences of my youth, vegan style. We ordered 2 burgers (the mushroom bbq bacon burger and the new steakhouse burger), 2 chik n’ funguys - both spicy but one wrapped in chard in place of a bun), and 3 sides (crispy herb fries, sweet potato crinkles, and bloomies). We also tried each of the 4 dipping sauces. I have high appreciation for an all vegan restaurant and wanted to love every bite but the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. Of everything we ordered, we’d only return for the mushroom bbq bacon burger, the sweet potato fries (heavenly) and the bloomies (read: vegan version of the Outback Bloomin’ Onion). Certain items felt highly indulgent, salty, and processed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I’m impressed with their rewards program. You get $5 off your first order and we got a bonus free fries due to the snowy weather. After my purchase, I’d already earned $2.50 off my next visit. Not bad, especially since the place isn’t cheap!

Clean and fast - Edit
The counter here is super small but the service and staff are super and fantastic. Inside Whole Foods makes this an easy no brainer get groceries then get tasty soft serve twisted chocolate and strawberry treat. Love it!
Read moreThey have links/ sausages, hamburgers and "chik'n" (made with mushrooms) sandwiches here. All are delicious. The really delicious stuff is the sweet potato fries with dipping sauce - go for whatever, and you'll be happy. Maple mustard or sweet chili?
So good and decent price. You'll love it! Can get the sandwiches in Swiss chard to avoid gluten/ extra carbs.
Pros: All vegan, Soft serve!, Sweet potato fries!
Cons: Needs more salad

Best part is the soft serve! - Edit
I really liked the soft serve, though it isn’t much a soft serve cone that I was expecting. It is thicker and more like a fast food frostee, which is great in my opinion, but not my SO’s. He got a burger as well and really liked it, though he thought the portion size was small for the price. I look forward to trying more menu items in the future! There were a decent number of menu items considering it’s just a little shop inside a Whole Foods.
