Vegan Eats Enjoyed Along the Pacific Coast - Edit
Ordered on my behalf after a full day of road tripping. Enjoyed in our hotel, burger was good and fries tasty. Really liked the mini Caesar salad too!

Don’t let the name deceive you: just because this is technically fast food, it doesn’t mean the quality is similar to that of McDonald’s or Burger King. The food here is amazing and is not only filling but also pretty creative. For example, I had a chicken and waffle sandwich (probably my favorite thing here) that consisted of very thick vegan chicken patty, bacon, and maple aioli (somehow even better than it sounds) all squeezed between two waffles serving as the buns. I also had an order of onion rings with the house sauce and they were particularly great, especially with the sauce. They had a patty melt on special as well, which had two patties in it instead of just one, as well as a heap of caramelized onions, vegan cheese, and delicious sauce between thick slices of Texas toast; it was incredible and definitely something I would gladly order again if it was still a special. For dessert, I couldn’t decide between the horchata shake and the cookie butter shake, so I just ended up ordering both. I had the horchata shake first and it was good, but the cookie butter shake was phenomenal, and the fact that it was my second shake within a few minutes did not deter me due to how delicious it was. This location has a very nice outdoor seating area, and although I ordered my food to go, it’s a great place to eat in as well. If I get a chance to go back, I’d love to try their breakfast items, which all look just as good as the rest of their menu.

As a former Dairy Queen fan, Snow Day shakes are the greatest vegan find (and snow days are better than blizzards!). The seasonal flavors are always fun to try, I wish the thin mint one was year round!

It was very disappointing trip to this restaurant. We ordered burger, fries and one chicken wrap. Both were either tasteless or unpleasant taste. I never experienced bad taste of vegan food so far. Fries came very cold. There was nothing with food as fork, knife etc. you have to ask them for them. Not going back.

My wife and I stopped for lunch. We had the chik’n and waffle sandwich (delicious but definitely sweet), the western burger with beefy patty (very very tasty), the chk’n tenders (excellent, I liked with honey mustard) and the horchata shake which was truly amazing, refreshing will get again. Staff was super friendly and helpful, even making my iced coffee to order.

This place is great! Don’t go expecting any culinary masterpieces or nurturing health bowls-but you knew that! As the name would imply, it’s fast food—plain and simple. But it’s done vegan, and it’s done well. The burgers are great, great nuggets with a nice variety of sauces. Breakfast sandwiches. Milkshakes, also a vegan take on the classic “Blizzard” called a Snow Day.
Read moreYou know the flavors—most of us grew up on them. As much as I love my mushrooms and kale and grain bowls it’s nice to enjoy those nostalgic tastes every once in a while. Nothing wrong with it, and anyone that says you are less of a vegan for it isn’t worth your time.

This place just hits the spot when you want some classic fast food. We got a double cheeseburger with fries, a mcribby, and a chocolate shake. Everything was perfect. The fries tasted like some good ol McDonalds fries. They even had some vegan honey mustard which my partner has been searching for. Will definitely return.

I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and my partner tried the western burger- both delicious, but the chicken and waffle is more memorable if you can only come here once on a trip. Good blueberry soda (very sweet but tasty). Good fries.

Best vegan casual. I get tenders usually but I did the breakfast burger the other day — might be the best thing they’ve come out with. It has the egg patty and hash browns on there, and I subbed ketchup out for Big Zac sauce. The pic here is of one of their cheeseburgers, also subbed with Big Zac. But yeah, they’re the most consistently great casual spot.

Plant Power is my favorite of the vegan fast food chains. The breakfast is especially good, but the food is tasty all day long. My favorites include the Breakfast Burrito, California Burrito, and the Western Burger. Oh, and the shakes and Snow Days are delicious too! This location's open air seating area is especially welcome on a nice day. You have to remember that this is fast food, not fine dining, but if you want fast food, this is it.

Plant power was one of the first vegan fast food spots I went to back when it first opened in 2016. Since then, they've expanded to around 11 or so locations. I was obsessed with it back then, and still long for some of the old menu offerings from that time (RIP raw tacos). With that said, I still view Plant Power as a solid option when I need a quick bite. My favorite menu items come from the breakfast section, specially the bacon egg and cheese bagel (make breakfast available all day already plz!). Also, chicken nuggs/ tenders hit the spot. Is it the best vegan fast food has to offer? Maybe not, but it's there when you need it, and that's enough for me. Plant Power: Ol’ reliable.

I cannot tell you the last time I had a croissant breakfast sandwich stuffed with cheese, egg, and bacon. Come to think of it, I doubt I've ever had one because I haven't eaten meat in over 30 years. I am also willing to bet that it's way tastier than any meat-wich out there. This is the place to go for breakfast when you're ravenous on a Tuesday morning (and Vegan) after a late night gig.

We've been fans of Plant Power for the past 6 years, and this location is no exception. We got an amazing, enormous Buffalo 66 chicken sandwich, Iconic fries, and a Superfood salad with Italian herb dressing. The junk food was amazing as expected, and even the Superfood salad was really delicious and the dressing complemented it perfectly!
