One of the World's Best Restaurants - Edit
I love everything about this new restaurant, beautifully set next to the Blanco Museum. When I entered the restaurant, I was certain that the prices were going to be expensive, as the restaurant is so elegantly designed with a lovely view.
Read moreI was initially doubting that a restaurant that serves so many types of cuisines could master each of the cuisines. They have absolutely pulled off a multi ethnic cuisine vegan restaurant. They serve some of the finest vegan sushi globally, their drinks are outstanding, and their desserts are decadent! I highly recommend their ice creams and their tiramisu is out of this world.
They are perfecting an aged vegan cheese board which I sampled. Wow! Creamy, rich, and full of aged cheese complex flavors. It is definitely ready to be added to the menu.
I have been to nearly 70 countries as a vegan, and I must add this to my world favorite list. If you miss going here, you are missing a world class dining experiemce.

Amazing Quality - Edit
We ate here almost every night for dinner while in Ubud. We tried many different options and everything was outstanding. If you have a sweet tooth like me this is the place for you. All of their sweet treats are absolutely to die for. The delivery from Gojek was effective and everything always arrived hot and amazing, it was so nice to enjoy the meals in our quiet and air conditioned hotel room.

Stunning food and restaurant - Edit
Absolutely loved this menu and restaurant! The staff are super friendly, we went at about 12:30 and it was pretty quiet, staff were really accommodating and kind. The food was unreal, my boyfriend had a pizza and I had the protein bowl, we also took home some pastries which were delicious. Wish I could’ve tried everything!

INSANELY GOOD, food, ambience and service - Edit
Incredible food, service, ambience and view. So many great options. My edamame hummus and lasagna were absolutely delicious. Lasagna was so nutty, saucy and filling. The place was so busy that I made an order, went to the washroom, came back 3 min later and my table was occupied by someone else 😂 but they still had lots of seating space and the food came very quickly.

El lugar es increíble; en cuanto a la comida hay platillos exquisitos y otros muy malos, comimos pizza(muy mala), el salmón y postres (deliciosos) y el nasi goreng muy bueno

I’ve ordered food for delivery multiple times and spent a good few hours working from this spot. The food is just unmatched, but most impressive of all is their range of deserts, wild! The restaurant itself is gorgeous in a lovely spot and is a must experience in Ubud.

A must-try in Bali with some exquisite options - Edit
Plant Bistro is an instant favorite, with beautifully prepared food in a lovely (and unpretentious) environment.
Read moreThe menu is an ambitious project, approaching such a great variety of items across three primary cuisine families: Italian, sushi, and local (plus a few international bits). The results range from amazing to good to meh, and it may take some exploration to find your favorites. If possible, bring friends so you can sample a good variety of the plant-based creations here.
MOST RECOMMENDED:
• Gnocchi di Zucca (pumpkin gnocchi with sage butter) is a masterpiece, with virtuosically balanced flavors.
• Cappellacci Neri is another stand-out dish with great flavor and texture.
• Lasagne al pesto
• Pastries, especially the Chocolatine and Pasticciotto Leccese
• Macrons, especially the pistachio-passion fruit
• Sushi (excellent)
• Salmon and cheese toast (made with marinated carrot) and salmon bruschetta
• Avocado toast
• Plant cheeses
• Sourdough bread and dipping oil
CREATIVE/INTERESTING (MIGHT LOVE IT OR NOT):
• Fried Calamari (made with konjac)
• French toast (unusually soft and fluffy)
• Pollo al Marsala (the “pollo”’is bready, like a savory American pancake)
• Cardamom rose latte (aromatic rose flavor, faint hint of cardamom)
GOOD:
• Pizza (especially the Capricciosa) - great when the crust is crispy, but sometimes it’s a bit soggy and soft
• Tonnarelli Carbonara
• Hummus
• Orange lemon cake
• Cannolo Siciliano
• Tiramisu
• Maritozzi
• Cornetto al cioccolato
• Matcha latte
• Green Garden smoothie
OK:
• Nasi Campur (a bit plain)
• Red Dragon smoothie (or smoothie bowl)
• Tropical smoothie (or smoothie bowl)
LEAST RECOMMENDABLE:
• Roots Carpaccio, which is essentially a well-plated garnish or a roots-only salad (lacking the flavor and texture of the marinated-root “sliced meats” we’ve had elsewhere)
• The “chai” latte was barely spiced — essentially warm coconut milk with a hint of nutmeg, which some might enjoy, but if you’re a fan of strong masala chai, know that this isn’t that (hopefully they will make a stronger brew in the future).
OTHER NOTES:
The atmosphere is one of the nicer settings in Bali, with both a tastefully designed indoor dining room (with air con that isn’t overly aggressive) and a spacious outdoor dining terrace that extends to overlook a lush ravine and the red rooftops.
Service is warm and cheerful.
Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Lieblingsrestaurant in Ubud - Edit

Nice atmosphere place - Edit
The very nice atmosphere, beautiful place; the food is very fanciful, but it doesn’t add to the taste of the food. Tuna toast is watermelon on avocado, it tasted okay. Lasagne has an after taste of fruit kompot, tasted fine.

Beautiful ambience and amazing menu (especially the dessert options)!
Read moreWe tried a bunch of different things and enjoyed everything on the table. Bonus bonus points for the amazing dessert options - I will definitely be going back for more.
A negative though is that customer service is really really slow - we were at lunch for 3 hours! But with food that great, I find it hard to deduct a star for it and want to give them the benefit of the doubt of having a busy day today. Other than that, it’s an incredible spot which I highly recommend.

Really amazing GF Vegan Italian - Edit
Definitely worth a stop. Beautiful atmosphere, many tables, friendly staff, even if they don’t come around often. The Italian food was INCREDIBLE. I also ordered the Nasi Campur, which was my mistake. (It was super under par for the level of excellence of everything else. Moral: don’t order Indo food at an Italian chef’s place!) highly recommend the gnocchi, sushi, all well done. Relatively affordable!

Plant is something special: from the creative pasta (you can't even tell it's gluten free!), to the perfect pizza crust, the creamiest and best ice cream in all of Ubud, and some of the best Italian baked goods I've ever had. The sushi is fantastic too!

Best Restaurant EVER - Edit
We visited Plant Bistro after this app recommended it as a top spot and omg are we glad we did!
Read moreThe location is incredible, with views across the valley and rainforest, absolutely stunning.
And the food is just something else. Still pinching ourselves that everything was vegan! We wish we could've gone back every day for every meal. The menu was extensive and covered so many options including gluten-free pasta! We shared two starters, King Oyster Mushroom Ngiri and Fried 'Calamari' which were both delicious but the 'calamari' especially was to die for.
We then shared two gluten free pasta dishes for main, Tonnarelli Carbonara and Gnocchi di Zucca and omg, YUM. They were both full of flavour, rich and decadent.
We washed it all down with two fresh juices and then skipped our way back to the hotel because we were so happy.
Oh also, stopped by their bakery and grabbed a heap of pastries for our breakfast 🥰
Thanks so much Plant Bistro, never stop doing what you're doing 💚 #Veganuary
