One of the World's Best Restaurants - Edit
I love everything about this new restaurant, beautifully set next to the Blanco Museum. When I entered the restaurant, I was certain that the prices were going to be expensive, as the restaurant is so elegantly designed with a lovely view.
Read moreI was initially doubting that a restaurant that serves so many types of cuisines could master each of the cuisines. They have absolutely pulled off a multi ethnic cuisine vegan restaurant. They serve some of the finest vegan sushi globally, their drinks are outstanding, and their desserts are decadent! I highly recommend their ice creams and their tiramisu is out of this world.
They are perfecting an aged vegan cheese board which I sampled. Wow! Creamy, rich, and full of aged cheese complex flavors. It is definitely ready to be added to the menu.
I have been to nearly 70 countries as a vegan, and I must add this to my world favorite list. If you miss going here, you are missing a world class dining experiemce.

We got recommendations which didn’t disappoint. As a starter we went with the salmon bruschetta and the calamari rings. Never have I ever tasted salmon that good, and the calamari rings were just so close to fish calamari, I had to second guess it. Unbelievable, we went with the gnocchi and the steak as main course as both of them were recommended to us too, the staff are really good in recommendations and hit us on the spot. I can’t even put it in words, it was super delicious and I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever choice you pick. For dessert we went with the Mille feuille and it was delicious.
Money may not make you happy this food certainly does. 🫶🏼 thank you so much!

First of all there is plenty of choice. Everything tastes amazing. You can breakfast here with smoothiebowls, sweet dishes and savory dishes till 1 pm. The lunch/diner menu is very extensive, name it and they have it. And a lot of desserts, as well as some great ice cream flavors (like pistachio, cookies and cream & caramelized macadamia)

Had a French toast which was nice after a few bites, it was too soft and needed to be more crunchy, I drowned it in oil which then I quite enjoyed but not the best idea. The pizzas are great and the bakery is amazing! The reason why I have it a 4 was the sweets and setting. So many options to choose from we will return.

We absolutely loved this place! This restaurant is a must visit, not only for vegans. The pasta dishes are very delicious, especially the lasagna. We tried several sweets as well. They were all very good. The view over the surrounding area is stunning as well.

Tried the gnocchi, the carbonara, sushis, fried king oysters and Muhamarra (my fave). Their pistachio ice cream was amazing.
For sure, give it a visit.

We popped in here after doing the Campuhan Ridge Walk (recommended). This place is amazing. Spacious, classy, valley views from the window seats, and attentive staff, just a fabulous venue to walk into.
Read moreThe food is next level. Mrs Slyder had the "salmon" toast - so realistic for something made out of carrots. The Nasi Campur was generous and just so delicious.
We grabbed a take away Orange Jam Sacher on the way out. We ate it the next day and it was divine.
A glass of Rose, and a couple of drinks, the bill was still less than 380k - incredible value given the quality of the venue and and the food.

I went with my family (non vegan) and we all had different pizza/pasta dishes which were all amazing! We also tried the bruschetta and caprese for starters and the gelato, tiramisu, cannoli and fruit tart for dessert and loved them!

Stop what you're doing. Whatever it is, it can't be better than Plant Bistro. Their menu is unreal, everything is reasonably priced and they make so much plant based food in house. Friendly staff, great drinks, nice view and a chill vibe. A must visit in Ubud!

Best vegan restaurant in Bali - Edit
We had the best vegan food in this restaurant! The choice is not easy, because there are so many tasty things on the menu! Mainly italian food like pasta and pizza, but also burgers, local food and sushi.
Read moreThe best things we tried so far (absolute taste bombs!) were the sushi (all of them), the vitello tonnato, bruschetta and the cappellacci neri. They were just *chef‘s kiss*! Their coffee is also very nice.
Great value for money and lovely staff. We would have loved to try the whole menu, but didn‘t have the time sadly.

A really lovely place with a great selection of vegan dishes and deserts. There’s lots of gluten free options too which is great. They even give you welcome focaccia. The staff are also so friendly. I had the pesto lasagna which was just incredible, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, and my bf had a pizza which he said was the best pizza he’s ever eaten!

We have been twice so far and on both ocassions we have been blown away by the quality of the food. We come to Ubud every year and tried most of the vegan places. Plant Bistro was new for us and definitely one of our top 2 vegan places in Bali, actually, anywhere!!
