very nice vego restaurant - Edit
called into Planet Vegis and had their lunchtime vegan buffet (200 pesos) however there was also an extensive a la carte menu available ... the restaurant has a very nice ambience and is very clean with plenty of seating ... there were lots of other people enjoying the buffet while I was there ... the buffet food was great with lots of choices including vegetable salad and fruit ... the food is tradition Philippines food cooked with meat substitutes ... the staff are very friendly and the owner spend time meeting and talking with the diners
Pros: delicious vegan buffet

Savior in meat city! - Edit
Been going to Cebu city on and off for work and I had always been disappointed with the food options. I'm so happy I found Planet Vegis! 95% of their dishes are vegan. I think only 4 items on the menu are vegetarian. They also are conscious of gluten free options. Food is great, you can tell it was prepared with love. Customer service is also awesome. Lunch and dinner buffet available for a steal!
Pros: yummy food! wide array of options, comfy set up
Cons: can be hard to find, suggest uber it so driver has, they have signs near the area to help locate the r, no credit card payments yet

One of the best! - Edit
Plant Vegis is one of the best vegan/vegetarien Restaurant we have been to in Southeastasia and truely the best in the Philippines. The food is high quality, good amount and the taste is wonderful. They have all-you-can-eat buffet on Saturdays and Sundays for only 200 Pesos. The staff and owner are very friendly people always looking after you. The ambient is clean and calm. I am so glad we found this place?

Very good vegetarian restaurant! - Edit
The place was right in the same block as my guesthouse so I rushed out to try it out and wasn't disappointed. The selection of food and drinks was huge and the food I ordered was one of the best of my whole stay in the Philippines. Unfortunately could come here once only.
Next time in Cebu I'll visit here again!!

Pros: lots of vegan options reasonable prices moringa
Cons: might need gps/ map to find it first time

Definitely recommend - Edit
Went three times as it was nearby on my short stopover in cebu - what luck! Not every dish is a winner, but there are so many fantastic choices. Stick to the chi/phil dishes, less impressed by burger. Last night in cebu brought three friends - all agreed it was a fabulous meal. Sometimes they do buffet which looked great. Also, consistently good music. If you've no idea about what to order you can pretty much choose randomly three things and have a great meal.
Pros: A gem in cebu, great veg option, A friendly owner , Nice ambience
Cons: A few misses on.the menu...

Really yummy fake meats - Edit
The opening hours need to be updated because we arrived at 4 pm and it was closed but we received a FB message saying they opened at 5pm and returned and it was worth it.
It was a pleasant atmosphere, the barbecue is outstanding with a lovely unusual sauce. The Lumpia was the best I've had, like a spring rolls with an unusual stuffing. We had another fake meat dish and a dish of very crispy things which was good.
The Guyabano shakes were really a lovely local sour sop drink. It's well worth the price, tasty and a brilliant introduction to the local cuisine.
Pros: one of the best barbecue dishes , nice atmosphere, good tasting food for the money
Cons: opening hours not clearly marked

Regular customer - Edit
At first glance on the menu I thought it was not an "absolute" Vegan restaurant. I ordered Vegetable biryani, Beef Biryani, and Chilli Mandarin, that was suggested by the owner. Here is my review. I did like the Vegetable Biryani and beef biryani. My only criticism is the use of "fake meat". It seems to be a real vegetarian restaurant but t entirely vegan, although there are vegan dishes
This is an updated review. I grew accustomed to the fake meat. It's a good alternative for once meat lovers turned to vegetarian or vegan due to the pressure of PETA.I'm kidding about PETA. One has to try their Tofish, Shrimp Walnut, Chicken nuggets, Humba, and the best Chinese Ngohiong I have ever tasted. May I suggest you end your meal with a banana split and Durian Coffee. I have to warn you that the Durian coffee has a Ritalin effect :) It enhances synaptic transmission three times better than regular brewed or instant coffee.
Pros: Good price and quality, Nice old Spanish music , Friendly Atmosphere
Cons: Uses fake meat

Second Landing - Edit
It was late. And all of us in the family came from work. No cooked food at home therefore, the decision was made.
DINNER AT PLANET VEGIS!
It was my first time to have ala carte meals there so I decided to try a few dishes.
Rice, of course, is available from plain white, brown, and biryani. The biryani is the bomb! Its not too spicy not to strong to the smell also. Its just right.

For those who love grilled meat, the barbecue is a perfect choice. You wouldn’t guess it isn’t meat from how juicy and tender it is. The marinade and the sauce suits the pinoy tongue as it is sweet and savory at the same time.

A healthier version of the cholesterol-laden sisig is here! Tofu sisig! I guess it doesn’t sound appetizing but allow your tongue to judge. The dish is perfectly seasoned and has that kick from the chillies we all love from sisig.

Mixed mushrooms on the house yo! Why am I so excited with this? Because usually, this dish is flavored with oyster sauce. But guess what? Planet Vegis make their own pseudo-oyster sauce. Out of what? They won’t tell. O.o

For dessert we have Knicker Bucker. Its a tropical fruit mix with colorful gulaman drizzled with their special cream sauce and 2 scoops of ice cream – strawberry and vanilla. Need I say more? It’s fruits and ice cream! A great end to a gastronomic journey.
