Good vegan pizza - Edit
They have a good variety of vegan options if they are stocked up when you go. There were no vegan pizza by the slice options when we went so we had to order a whole pizza. We just ordered a pizza with a bunch of veggies, without vegan meat or cheese. It was good.

Bad staff, meh pizza - Edit
Second visit - both times awful experience communicating with the staff. They know NOTHING about the ingredients. I had to literally point a finger at the sticker on their window to let them know they have vegan cheese.
Read moreOn top of that the pizza was underwhelming.
Not coming back.
Cons: Poor taste, Bad staff

Well sure, anti-vegan restaurants don't know or care about what's in their food. That's why I always recommend vegans avoid them completely. They'll lie too. Boycott the bastards!

I was craving pizza after running a half marathon and this hit the spot. Had to go for garlic while close to Gilroy.

Decent but not the best vegan pizza option in Monterey - Edit
I ordered the vegan sur. It was about $18 for a 12 inch. Good size. When I ordered I mentioned twice that I wanted it without mushrooms. We ordered and my husband got him pizza slices about 5 minutes after sitting. He finishes both and I was still waiting for my pizza. After 25 minutes I asked about it and they said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Pizza came and it was covered in mushrooms. I told them I was allergic and asked for none and the girl apologized and said the guy put in to add extra portobello to the pizza. I had a feeling it would happen because the guy seemed almost lost when I said no mushrooms. No biggie, mistakes happen. So they had to remake the pizza and it took another 20 minutes. So it was a total of 50 minutes of waiting for my pizza. The staff was nice however, but for a Tuesday with not too many people inside it just seemed kinda ridiculous to wait so long. They did let us keep the first pizza for free which was nice of them so my husband can eat it throughout the week.
Read moreThe pizza came and it looked pretty good. I was slightly disappointed whenever I ate it though. It lacked marinara sauce but I was glad that it wasn’t overloaded with vegan cheese like a lot of places do. When that happens vegan pizzas tend to be very gummy and this pizza wasn’t gummy at all. I would maybe ask for some marinara on the side to dip it in since it was kinda dry. Pepperoni and sausage was good and garlic was delicious. Crust was nice as well. However, I don’t think this pizza is worth the 50 minute wait and over $18 after tax. It really just tasted like a slightly upscale oven pizza. Still, it was good. Just doesn’t seem worth the price and wait. In my opinion, blaze pizza in marina has a much better vegan pizza and vegan cheese bread with delicious marinara sauce for about half the price.
Pros: Vegan cheese and meats
Cons: Long waits, Dry pizza

Some of the best vegan pizza I've had - Edit
Really like the cheese and the vegan meats. So tasty. Jsut a shame they sold out of the vegan pizza by the slice before I could get a 3rd slice!

Satisfies pizza cravings - Edit
They offer 2 vegan pizzas on the menu or you can build your own. They use Miyoko's, which is my favorite. They recently added Beyond Sausage and Impossible Pepperoni as toppings. They have a good selection of craft beer and beverages as well. Can get busy on the weekends.

OMG - GREAT VEGAN PIZZA with Legit toppings - Edit
They use Miyoko cheese and vegan meats! It's hard to find good vegan pizza in Monterey County other than Blaze. But this place far beats out Blaze's pizza.
