Amazing! - Edit
This is one of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. You get fresh delicious food for very reasonable prices. In Germany they could charge at least 2x the price for what they offer. Portions are big as well, staff is very friendly and speaks very good english. There’s also free wifi. Just note that they offer only a small selection of their menu which varies a bit each day. I was told it also depends on the season, some dishes are only offered when it gets colder outside.

Good lovemacun - Edit
Very nice place, a bit expensive but tasty. I’ve tried hummus and lovemacun- both were mouthwatering, the second one a bit spicy. My husband took seitan bowl but he didn’t enjoy it too much, he preferred my lovemacun.

Cute place - Edit
Cute place, friendly service, great food. I had the red pepper bread and falafel burger, both were delicious. My friend had the linguine which was more like a stir fry, but looked tasty. The dairy option on the menu was a bit confusing, but overall loved it.

Delicious food. But not "Cow friendly" - Edit
I have been eating several times at this place. The atmosphere is very nice. The owner is very professional, friendly and cares about his guests. The food was the best we had in Turkey so far. The menu is varied and every meal we had was perfectly cooked, rich and extremely tasty. This could be one of my favourite vegan restaurants in the world. Except for one thing. It's not vegan. It has mozzarella in the menu. The owner said they keep it separated in the fridge and they use it only if the guests asks for it instead of vegan cheese.
Read moreI hope it will be different, when I come back. But this was very disappointing.

Always a favorite - Edit
When we first started our plant based diet, we were thrilled to try Pişekar. It is a lovely little restaurant on a one-way street close to the amphitheater. We’ve tried various dishes over the past month, and have never been disappointed with our choices. Their falafel bowl is so delicious. Truly one of the best felafels I’ve ever had. We’ve also tried their veggie linguine bowl with delicious mushrooms and a nice teriyaki sauce… very tasty! The staff are so friendly. They always make you feel welcome. This restaurant is a real gem!

Delicious - Edit
Rare to find a place that is completely vegan in this area (NB they do have dairy mozzarella as an option, they say this is to encourage non-vegans to try otherwise vegan food, who knows if that works but at least you can pick anything from the menu without having to check the ingredients). We had the hummus (wow) and za’atar bread to start followed by a tempeh burrito and a seitan bowl - all delicious and very filling. We had a homemade tamarind drink which was amazing - do try it. We also had the fermented beetroot drink which personally I loved. The owner (who has perfect English) and the chef were lovely, warm people and we felt very welcomed. If you love cats you’ll appreciate the constant visits from some very well fed individuals. As a thought I would love it if some veganised versions of more traditional Turkish dishes were also on the menu - I’d love to get a chance to try these.

Tasty wraps and bowls - Edit
I ate a tempeh wrap and a chocolate cake here. The food was tasty with a good array of ingredients included. Great for people who are wanting to eat healthy as there is a large selection of bowls and wraps. Note that a 10% service charge is added, even on take away items, and 2% if you use a credit card.
