Yum 😋 - Edit
Had a pad thai at Plant 4 Bowden. Didn’t really taste like a traditional pad thai but it was still really tasty. Staff are super nice.

Lovely meal deal - Edit
I had a meal deal - entree, meal and drink for $21.00. It was a lovely meal cooked fresh and enough for one without overeating. Bit of spiciness which was great!

This friendly, all-vegan, family-run kitchen serves up delicious Thai and pan-Asian food with quality a step above the crowd. The appetizer sampler plate is particularly recommendable.

Three of us had a noodle dish from the specials board and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Spicy, sticky, full of flavour with added seitan and tofu. Fast and friendly service.

Fancied Thai and found a new favourite - Edit
Still new to adelaide we again used this app to find a place that is vegan and open for Sunday lunch. Decided Thai tickled our fancy - google maps took us to the address. Finding a carpark outside of the building we were amazed to discover Plant 4 and the buzzy foodcourt. Turns out there are heaps of vegan and vego options so he got a Pakistani platter while I ordered a satay vege and tofu stir-fry and, purple taro and sweet potato spring rolls from PingAn VeggieTime. The Thai food was cooked to order, we were kept waiting long enough to know they're actually cooking meal for you but not so long as to be inconvenient. The spring rolls were hot and crispy and like no spring rolls I've had before. The satay stir-fry was delightfully fresh, sweet, peanuty and some lovely warm spices. My partner and I shared all the dishes, eating from one side of the plates, meeting in the middle. Both the Thai and Pakistani meals were delicious - I've dropped a ❤ pin in my map app cos we're definitely going back for more.

Good flavours - Edit
Good flavours and lovely staff, but found the servings to be quite small. The mains still leave room for entree and dessert.

The family that run this stall are so sweet and friendly They offer a great range of vegan Thai food with tofu and mock meat options available. I ordered the satay noodles with mock meat and it and tried the very filling spring rolls too. The food has a very comforting feel to it.

Don’t be in a hurry - Edit
I hadn’t realised this place was in a busy food court (my bad I’m sure) when I walked from the city to have dinner here. I joined the queue and ordered the Thai spring rolls ($8) and the satay noodles with tofu and vegetables ($14). The spring rolls took a few minutes and were delicious and perfectly cooked, but the place was so busy that it was a good forty minutes from the time I ordered before the noodles were ready. The person at the counter took my phone number to notify me when they were ready. I probably chose the wrong dish, and even though there was technically nothing wrong with it, I’d forgotten how syrupy sweet satay sauce can be. The food court did have a nice atmosphere and I would come back to try other things on the menu. The food is also cheap but be prepared to wait if you come here at a meal time though.

The best Thai food in Australia! - Edit
This place serves so many different kinds of vegan Thai food, and are always bringing out new and delicious dishes. They are the most wholesome, kind hearted and wonderful people too. I cannot recommend it highly enough! Their pad se ew and satay noodles are out of this world. Love it!

Thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that. This is PingAnVeggieTime. This is our account not U-Tong Thai Vegan. Someone mixed up our information. It was not your fault to put this review for U-Tong Thai. So we just requested to HappyCow to open another account for U-Tong Thai. We moved to Adelaide and still looking for a new restaurant to open here. Anyway, we will let U-Tong Thai know about your review. Thank you.

I went here on Saturday night with an Omni and Vegan friend, we all loved it! Entrees; taro spring rolls, bean curd rolls, roti with peanut sauce (the highlight) and chicken drumstick (second highlight) were all incredible. Pad Thai, red curry and soy fish were all delicious mains. Finally, the banana chocolate roll with soy ice cream was a real treat!
