I was sceptical at first because of years of eating pizza and to me there was no way a vegan pizza could compete with the original recipe. However I had to swallow my tongue because the pizza here is incredible. 6 variety of base 3 of cheese one of which is made in the restaurant. I met one of the owner, Cristiano, he is extremely friendly and very passionate about pizza and veganism. Ultimately fresh ingredients together with Cristiano made my experience a success. Well done boys!

Read moreTried 3 different pizzas with burned-wheat and plantain bases and we couldn't believe how good they were.
We decided to add a carbonara to share and it was the best we ever had.
Such a shame the tiramisu was sold out!!! We will definitively come back to continue to try all the menu!

Read moreFood : 10/10. This place is now one of my favourites!!! The Tricolore fries are to DIE FOR. Honestly DELICIOUS!!! We had the butter chicken omkara pizza which was amazing, the macaroni cheese - so creamy and rich, and also the tiramasu and nutella pizza..... WOOOOOW!!!!! It far exceeded our expectations!!!
We cannot wait to return. An absolute must visit!!!!!!

Picky Wops is by far the best Italian in London! Whether your vegan, gluten-free or non-vegan, they will wow you with their incredible dishes that are made with loveee. Not only is the food unreal, but the owners are the friendliest and really give this place the best vibe, along with the banging music! 5* all round and recommend to anyone and everyone!

Read moreWe had the offer of the day - carbonara pizza and from the menu parmigiana pizza. Both were so delicious that there was no time to snap a pic.
My last visit to PW was not such a great experience tbh.
Found it really annoying to be asked where I am from as soon as I said Hi. (why?) when I avoided slightly the answer with casual 'I live in London' it was followed by 'but where are you from?'. I shoot off first country what crossed my mind and got the answer 'Cool! Because I'm Italian!' wtf?
This whole awkward introduction just put me off.
We waited for food an hour, place was not busy. We were asked by three different ppl if we're ready to order way after that already happened. When our food arrived without a starter we've been told it's coming in a minute. After 15 min, pizza almost eaten, we asked to cancel the starter. Food was good, as always I'd say. As an apology they gave us discount but tbh not sure of coming back. Star off for the annoying introduction and all over the place staff

Homemade pizza with proper vegan cheese - Edit
The place is small and although we hadn't booked a table we were lucky to get one. I'd say this place is ideal for groups of 2-4 people. The music was a bit too loud for my taste. But the food... Oh, the food! The smell of oven-baked pizza from the moment we walked in got us salivating. The menu is accessed by a QR code on your phone, which I think it's clever and saves paper. They also have pasta on the menu but I had my mind set on pizza. I think that what's special about this restaurant is that you can upgrade your dough with turmeric or other ingredients that make the dough colourful, but I went for the basics. I had the parmigiana and my partner had the samosa pizza.
Read moreWhat I loved the most was the vegan parmesan cheese. Nothing to do with that stinky vegan cheese you get sometimes. This smelled and tasted like the real thing. And the pesto sauce complimented it very well. I loved the dough as well, it felt very homemade. I had the vegan tiramisu for dessert and I was a bit disappointed: too much cream, not much flavour and not enough lady fingers, but not too bad. The prices were reasonable, so that made it more attractive.
The Indian-Italian fusion is an original twist and there were a few other things on the menu that I would like to try, so I would definitely go back!

Best gluten free pizza ever! - Edit
We were there last night after a talk and could have not left happier. Their exclusive plantain gluten free base is nothing like anything we have ever tried before: fluffy, soft and crispy at the bottom, nothing like the chewy usual stuff. The carbonara pasta was also tasty and beautifully ‘al dente’. And to top it all off their gluten free cakes also stood out. Forget the dense and oily cashew and coconut oil cream on top on crushed almond and dates. Think authentic flan-like cream and proper biscuit crust. And the service both friendly, warm and efficient. 10 out of 10. Can’t wait for the frozen range!

Amazing pizzas, amazing service. What more could you ask for? How about amazing collabs? Picky Wops have collab'd with Omkara (Vegan Authentic Indian Street Food) which, I must admit, I haven't tried yet, but seeing as though Omkara is up there on my vegan street food list, I cannot wait to get my teeth into a Butter Chick'n Pizza - omg! Picky Wops get all the stars.

We got to try the amazing Picky Wops pizza at vegan campout, the dough was amazing, vegan cheese fabulous and an excellent choice of toppings and sauces!!! It was chucking it down as we were queuing but was totally worth getting soaked for!! Fantastic pizza!! 🍕🥰
