Perch Lancing - Edit

There were 3 vegan items on the menu: tofish & chips, a burger, and Middle Feast a grain and falafel bowl, and a vegan cake on the display.

I went for an oat latte and the Middle Feast. Food came out really quickly even though it was super busy.

It was hearty and substantial and I was not disappointed!

Pros: Great location, Food came out fast and was delicious, Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons: Choices were a little limited, Quite pricey , Card only, no cash

Family Boxing Day Birthday Celebration - Edit

Group of 6 (5 adults 1 small human) with 2 vegans we both had the Middle Feast. After to much Xmas food. Tasted very fresh and great combination of flavors.
Despite the venue being very busy all the food turned up at the same time. The food was fresh and hot. No complaints with any of it.

Pros: Tasty Vegan options , Nice venue and atmosphere , Lovely staff

Cons: The crayon selection needs looking at, as we don’t have enough colours - we did have a, small person with us who agreed about the crayons

Tofish and chips - Edit

Had a lovely meal of tofish and chips, and a splendid pot of earl grey tea. Pleasantly situated, good seating areas and dog friendly. Staff were lovely and friendly and definitely went "above and beyond"

Some decent options, nice location - Edit

While not mind blowing, there are some decent options for vegans, and much better than the after thought type dishes you get at some other places. Vegan options include tofish and chips (great for beach location), vegan burger (mock meat style patty), and sweet potato falafel! The weird curved cut chips are fun. Place can sometimes get a bit busy. Is dog friendly which makes it convenient as a lunch stop during a dog walk. Service has always been good. Prices a bit on the high side.

Pros: Nice setting, Dog friendly, Multiple vegan options

Cons: Quite pricey for what it is, Nothing particularly exciting or original

Great plant brunch - Edit

Location on the beach, staff efficient and friendly, plant brunch was really good and different - avocado on sourdough toast with toasted seeds, potato and sweetcorn fried dumpling, grilled tomatoes, aubergine, flat mushrooms, sweet potato and kale side, pesto and sweet chilli sauces all very tasty, and oat milk for hot drinks.

Pros: Fresh healthy vegan brunch, Great location overlooking the beach , Good atmosphere and friendly staff

Great place on the seafront - Edit

We’ve driven past many times but never stopped. I was aware of the vegan options available, and was pleasantly surprised with the the burger I had. Normally vegan burgers are nothing special, but this one had vegan bacon and looked appetising. Next time I will definitely try the tofish and chips. I was, however, disappointed at the lack of vegan deserts, but there was a cake option.

Pros: Multiple Vegan options, Easy access to the seafront

Cons: Oat milk is 30p extra (only listed vegan milk), No vegan puddings on the menu

Unique Full English - Edit

The breakfast I had here was a little different than a usual full English, but it was delicious! The Perch is a great place to eat breakfast and lunch in an area where there aren’t many vegans options locally.
