Fine dining vibes done differently - Edit
Super central location in a narrow street. The menu is pretty special and the staff is friendly. They also have a small shop inside with plenty of great options.

So tasty! - Edit
The best thing about this place is that you don't have to choose! When I arrived they had an option that's called parade of canapes where you are able to try all three of their delicious canopies with a glass of sparkling wine. They were all great but I particularly loved the one with Camembert cheese. This is one of the few places in the world where the vegan cheese really works. The carrot lox were good as well although they were just a bit salty for my taste. It was for a feast for the eyes as well as the palate as each one was beautifully plated. It's a small spot, it feels kind of like a hole in the wall even though there's definitely a gourmet deli vibe happening. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Good cheesy food - Edit
It was nice to have some good cheese again. We shared all dishes from the menu and enjoyed all of them. I even enjoyed the fake prosciutto, although I’m not a big fan of fake meats in general. The vegan cheeses were tasty, too.

V good vegan cheese - Edit
We visited P&G and tested 3 canapes and triple cheese. They tasted all good and cheese was really exceptional. The only drawback was limited space and pretty poor service (long waiting time and pressure to free up tables quickly). Nevertheless we will come again for the food

Delicious! That nice vegan deli I never found in Paris... - Edit
Small place, I really enjoyed my lunch there. Everything was fresh, clean, neat. Staff very friendly. I had three different canapés: with "ham" and horse radish (my favorite!), with "camembert" and fresh berries, and with cream cheese and carrot lox. They also have a triple-cheese grilled cheese sandwich which sounded amazing but I was already full. The coffee was exceptionally good too. There are lots of vegan cookbooks to look at in the shop, as well as nice products to buy home.

All vegan in the heart of Vienna - Edit
We stopped for a quick nibble and a chance to sit down. Fruit tea served with lemon and a bite. The carrot lox served with a sprig of dill. We sat outside listening to music playing.

Small Spot, Big Flavors & Vegan Goodies to Go - Edit
I was there last year. It's a small place, but the food is delicious. The person in charge was very nice, and they had a fridge with lots of things to take home, like artisanal vegan cheese.

Yummy brunch, a bit tight - Edit
The brunch menu was 4 courses including one hot drink (coffee-based drinks or tea) and one orange lemonade or prosecco.
Read moreThe food was very nice. The images hopefully give an indication of the quality. Everything was fresh and yummy.
The space was a little tight. You could either sit a bit crammed in a small room next to the main room or in the main room right by the window and sales area. It was more spacious there but also louder because the food and coffee was prepared there.
Contrary to what some people have said here, there is the possibility to ask to go to the toilet. But it isn't an official one and you can't lock the door. Which is fine, it's in the back and nobody but the owner who works in the front and knows you're there will enter.
The music was fantastic and the service marvelous.
You can definitely eat way way worse brunch for the same amount of money or more in Vienna so this was a pleasant experience.
Make sure to make a reservation, as there are only 9 chairs across 3 tables.
Mahlzeit!

Der Brunch ist sehr empfehlenswert, er wird nicht wie in anderen Restaurants als Buffet angeboten, sondern serviert. Die Speisen werden mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Exquisite deli food - Edit
I had the 'canape parade', three pieces of bread with different toppings: 'camembert' with fig mustard and nuts; carrot 'lox' with cream cheese, dill mustard, truffle 'caviar' and lemon; and 'prosciutto', horseradish, cucumber pickle, mayo and fried onion flakes. All were superb. A really special and unusual blend of flavours and textures that worked unbelievably well together. Also, because I swapped out the alcoholic drink for a lemon soda, my bill was reduced. The place is also a vegan delicatessen with some really interesting, high quality stuff for sale.

Amazing! - Edit
Wow the small plates were great, I tried all 3 options. The carrot lox is incredible, the Camembert delicious, and the prosciutto really tasty (as long as you like mustard/pickles). Not extremely expensive like other places in Vienna, and very friendly staff.

Pepper & Ginny in Vienna - Edit
This place sits down a gorgeous little street & we stumbled upon it accidentally despite being on our list of eats to go in Vienna. We had the camembert & lox canapés for starters and I was shocked how much it tasted like the original (almost brought home some of the cheese they have!) and we finished with the cheese toasty - cheesy crunchy goodness 😍🥰

Charming and tiny, and is a perfect place for lunch. The grilled cheese with prosciutto is the best ever sandwich! Loved the trio platter as well, I think it's the Brie that makes one of them particularly delectable. Everything was so cute, and the owner was so sweet. I wish this was closer to me!

An absolute joy! We stumbled in our the first day of our vienna trip and were greeted warmly and had the best ever vegan cheese toasties. We came back on our last day for the canapes. Incredible. Its a small shop we one person working, so dont expect super past service. Definitely worth the wait.

The best thing we ate in Vienna - Edit
Pepper & Ginny was hands down the most delicious vegan food we ate in Vienna. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu - a cheese toastie, several cheese loaded breads (the Camembert and cream cheese is out of this world incredible) and we could not fault a thing. We loved it so much we even grabbed ourselves some cheeses for the road to enjoy with a wine back in our hotel room later that day.
