Convenient Vegan - Edit
The restaurant wasn’t busy so it was a great option for a hungry vegan family of 4!
Read moreThe portions however were pretty disappointing. The margarita pizza (vegan cheese $3) was only filled about 2/3 of the way. The Penne Pomodoro was about 8-10 bites - not enough for my husband.
The focaccia w/ olive oil, balsamic & Italian herbs was hands down the BEST! We should’ve just ordered 4 of those 😉

We have the flatbread pizza with capers, basil and sun dried tomatoes. We now have Daiya cheese added. One of my favorite places in Lahina! Nice people running it too.

They have Daiya Vegan Cheese! - Edit
She very excited to find a restaurant on the West Side of Maui that offers vegan cheese. Juan said he started putting daiya on the menu after a vegan told him how great it is and he also mentioned Happy Cow! My husband and I tried the pizza with Olives, Capers, Basil, Oregano & Roasted Peppers— Super Delicious!!!

so so... - Edit
Definitely possible to eat vegan here. Had the roasted broccoli to start which was dripping oil otherwise tasty. Focaccia came with parmesan on it, which they gladly remade without. It was delicious. My penne was softer than I like and the Ragu was watery. My wife liked her roasted eggplant spaghetti, it was not as watery and cooked right.

Very accommodating - Edit
The ?owner was really helpful, he went through the whole menu and explained the pizzas and pastas that could be made vegan (they have vegan cheese). My pizza was great, thin crispy crust and he let me add some extra veggies. My boyfriend had the pasta puttanesca veganized with anchovies removed. They can do their baked pastas with vegan cheese as well.

Cons: Not a huge variety of pizza toppings, Location not that scenic

Accomodating! - Edit
The staff was so friendly and helpful in crafting our vegan lunch. After beach or shopping in Lahaina it is a must stop. Super thin crust delicioso pizza and and baked penne, both with Daiya cheese. So good and loved the quaint outside dining area. Would visit again for sure.

Penne Pasta - Edit
This place reminded me of Noodles and Company...but the food here tastes so much better. The chef was nice enough to come out and talk to me and walked me through each item that could be made vegan, and they even have Daiya cheese. He recommended the Penne Puttanesca (you must specify vegan) and he veganized it for me (so less the cheese and anchovies). I must say, I was impressed. The food was really good and flavored well. I may even go back to Penne Pasta for dinner again tonight. I recommend this place if you're craving pasta.

Everything is so fresh! Excellent for vegetarians, would have to ask for vegan modification for some dishes.

Can't wait to go back, and try what's new.
Pros: Good portion size, Excellent food, Good value
Cons: Could have a bit more outdoor seating
