Exceeded my expectations - Edit
The Mushroom Stroganoff with kelp noodles and flavorful pesto was so full of flavor. I don’t even like mushrooms but this entree changed my mind. I also recommend the raw lasagna and the mango curry wrap, which comes with delicious kale chips. For dessert, the Dreamsicle Hostess cupcake, apple pie and chocolate toffee bars are winners.

Good place for raw vegan dining - Edit
I enjoyed their raw vegan take on lasagna, called Loving Lasagna. I also enjoyed the Passionfruit Guava Pie.
Read moreI would caution against the outdoor seating because the many, well-watered plants are apparently home to mosquitos, as evidenced by several bites that I discovered on my ankle shortly after dining there.

High quality and delicious food, desserts, and more. - Edit
I so grateful that San Diego has such a great raw vegan restaurant. It's a bit far from me but I go once in a while. I had their burger, lasagna, mushroom stragonoff, mango curry wrap, pizza, taco, all types of desserts, milkshake, Nori Nirvana, quesadilla, cuac and chips, and leekcrackers. I think that is like 70% of their menu items. I have enjoyed everything I had and repeating orders of few of my favorites like mangk curry wrap, burger, taco, and stroganoff.

Impressive! - Edit
I’m a skeptic at raw restaurants because I’m a foodie for flavor, but they do it well at Peace Pies. The flavors were delicious and well thought out, we felt extremely nourished and vibrant after our meals, and they had so many options! Their outdoor eating area was FULL of gorgeous plants. Probably a hundred or more. It felt like eating in a jungle. Loved it here!

All time favorite food - Edit
I've been eating mostly raw for the past 4-5 months and it has changed my life! That being said, what I find is that Peace Pies is one of, if not the only, eating est. in the region that promotes this revolutionary, healthy lifestyle in full, no-holds-barred. They provide a real favorable option for your palate when you don't have any knowledge or experience with the art of preparing creative, raw meals. You'll be fascinated with disbelief that all of their preparations are raw. Then dawned with the stage of questioning as to how they prepare their food. Then maybe inspired to eat that healthy more often. I know they played a large role in inspiring me!

FRESH, Flavorful Living Foods - Edit
I ordered the Majestic Mediterranean wrap and San Diego Caesar.
Read moreI loved the fresh, vibrant fillings of the wrap- sprouts, cukes, tomatoes, lettuce the sprouted lentil pea & lentil falafel. Looooved the cucumber dill sauce plus the slight sweetness from the coconut wrap. The falafel was super dense and filling. Could’ve possibly used more fresh herbs in the falafel for a bit more flavour.
The kale chips that come with the wrap were EPICCCC! I can see why they sell so many prepackaged kale chips..theyre ridiculously good. 10/10. Best kale chips I’ve ever had. Hands down.
Really enjoyed the Caesar as well. I missed having caesars back in the day and it was nice to have one that was very tasty.
I would come back just for those kale chips plus to try other things off the menu. Really appreciate this place for offering well thought out, flavourful, delicious raw vegan food. Excited to go back.
Pros: Insanely delicious kale chips

I have the street tacos and the Mediterranean wrap. Both were delicious.

The restaurant is on a busy street, so it is not the most peaceful place to eat at. But for sure a great option for raw food and for take out.

One of a Kind Raw Vegan Experience - Edit
Peace Pies is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego - 100% vegan, 100% raw, 100% unbelievable! Their flavors and execution are flawless every time, everything is deliciously satisfying and fresh, and their desserts are as decadent as they are beautiful.
Read moreMust tries: the Majestic Mediterranean Wrap with sprouted falafel in a coconut toritlla, Cheezy Kelp n' Kale (kelp noodles in a cashew cream sauce), and the Mysytical Mushroom Quesadilla (get it with the walnut meat upgrade!) And no trip to Peace Pies would be complete without one of their amazing, seasonally rotating, vegan desserts (like dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake).

Wish they could be eco friendly though. Plastic instead of alternatives and they don’t recycle. A number of stuff things premade in refrigerator.

Unique spot, pricey food - Edit
I’ve been here twice now. The first time we had an exceptional (and crave-worthy) mushroom cashew quesadilla. Because of that one dish, we came back and decide to branch out.
Read moreWe had the mango wrap, the raw lasagna, falafels, and 2 shakes. Everything but the mango wrap was a bust.. this could be because I don’t yet have the palette for raw food...but for spending $70 , I wouldn’t ever get anything besides that quesadilla.
The falafels were crumbling and were chilled, which threw me off. The lasagna was disappointing because it was nothing like lasagna (again, it’s raw). The milkshakes were hard to get through as well, decent upfront flavor, then hit with a strange aftertaste (dates?). The mango curry wrap was not a hit with my bf, but I actually enjoyed that a lot. It was sweet and light.
I give this place 5 stars for the beautiful plating of the food, 2 stars for taste (again I’m new to raw food), 5 stars for the environment and staff.
Pros: All vegan, all raw , Some delicious options , Cute spot
Cons: Expensive , Food not hitting the mark (for me) , Parking

Delicious Vegan Raw choices - Edit
What a chill vibe, the service was kind and all questions answered. Plenty of delicious options to take away or eat there. Many sweet options, to include four different vegan cheesecakes. it takes a little bit to get the order but it's well worth the wait. Outdoor and indoor seating. It was a bit chilly inside would bring a light jacket. I had the quesadilla.
