Papis is awesome. They have a full vegan menu and a gluten free menu. It takes the guess work and questions out. I had the vegan elote and vegan option tacos. Absolutely delicious!

Vegan menu with many options! - Edit
There’s a whole vegan menu, so that instantly gets you points in my book. Tried both of the appetizers with plantains, the quesadillas, and the vegan ice cream sandwich. Portions were hearty-couldn’t finish everything. There’s at least 5 apps, 5 entrees, and more. I’ll be coming back in future trips to OCMD to try the rest. Wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was far better than expected! Will come again.

Great Mexican Vegan Food! - Edit
I vacationed at Ocean City for the first time without proactively researching vegan food options. I was very surprised and grateful to have found Papi's Tacos! We ordered guacamole to share; it was homemade and very tasty. I also ordered vegan Elote (topped with vegan mozzarella), which is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. I also got a vegan burrito that came with plenty of veggies, tofu (I think?), beans, salsa, and tomato/lettuce. It all tasted authentic and my non-vegan friends had plenty of delicious options as well.

Absolutely loved this spot. Separate vegan menu. We had the plantains appetizer, then the torta and burrito. Holy moly it was all so flavorful and satisfying. Also really great hot sauces on the table and chips/salsa. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place in a great location.

For Tourists and Locals Alike - Edit
We were worried that Papi's was just a tourist spot on our first visit this summer, but we pleasantly surprsised to see several groups of locals picking up on their lunch break. We loved having the separate vegan menu.

I definitely look forward to coming back and trying more menu items the next time I am in the area.

Full separate menu for vegans and opposite side was a full GF menu. Thrilled with the options and so grateful for the ways they have figured out how to make so many delicious dishes vegan! I got the veggie street tacos with the ropa salsa and on my goodness was it delicious. 2 tacos was more than enough for me since we had chips and fries to start. My husband got the veggie burrito and it was so good, and really big portion. Brought half of it home. Honestly, to top it off, we had a great server who made us laugh and kept our waters full and was happy to help us navigate the menu and make suggestions when we weren’t sure what to choose. Will definitely be coming back!

I ordered the vegan gringo tacos with black beans and avocado. It was supposed to be topped with lettuce, pico and vegan mozzarella. Everything was on there, but there was also a white creamy topping that looked like sour cream. I checked the entire vegan menu and did not see anything that contained vegan sour cream, so I ended up not eating the tacos since I wasn't sure if it was dairy sour cream.

Better than average Mexican restaurant (authentic-ish street tacos, house-made chips and salsa, homey decor) with a separate vegan menu! Usually with Mexican, you're just taking things off and hoping for beans without pork but they had yummy elote (street corn), a range of vegan salsas including mole poblano, and build your own tacos with a choice of 3 vegan fillings, as well as quite a few other small and large plates. Vegan mozzarella they used was better than most. Friendly service.

We got the vegetarian, smashed black bean and beyond meat tacos, all “vegan style” and they were all delicious. Will definitely make this a regular place to eat when in town. We came right at the start of the off season and it was ready for pick up in 10 minutes.

At least 20 items on the ALL Vegan menu, got the quesadilla (with beyond crumble), delicious. Also tried the vegan steak taco’s. Really great food and nice place!

This restaurant has a whole vegan menu, and the food is delicious. I got the burrito, which I ate half of at the restaurant and saved the other half for later because the meal (including the chips and salsa) was so filling. The only downside is that there are no vegan desserts.

There aren’t a ton of vegan options in Ocean City, but Papi’s Tacos has a full vegan menu and offers vegan meat substitutes on their regular menu. Portions were large, and the food was delicious! Definitely worth it!

I was so impressed with my tacos! Delicious beyond meat crumbles on warm flour tortillas, with veggies and cheese too. I had the vegan gringo street tacos and I would have them again and again.

Had a permanent separate VEGAN MENU! - Edit
I was so excited to try out Papi's. When we arrived I told the waitress that I was vegan and my husband vegetarian. She said she would be happy to retrieve the vegan menu for me. Both my husband and I had the vegan burrito with Beyond meat and vegan cheese. It was fantastic! Unlike many vegan cheeses the cheese they use did not stick to my teeth. It was flavorful and hearty. I had mine with the mole sauce and my husband had it with the salsa verde.

They have a menu just for vegans and the food was amazing. I did the vegan tostada and nachos from the "little cravings" and the vegan platano's for dessert. The platano is not listed as dessert, it's on the little cravings menu but it was sweet and seriously delicious! I'm vegan and GF, had no trouble with the menu! The whole experience was just wonderful!
