Just ok

Not the best bowl I've had, but when not much is open in February, it was ok.

Great on a hot day

We went in early October and it was still hot so it was a great cold treat to cool off. They had outdoor seating so we stayed and enjoyed our smoothie bowls. A little pricey but smoothies always are. There were no food options like the description said, maybe they have them during peak season. A couple of non-vegan pre-packaged muffins and a gluten free bar were the only food options. Lots of vegan smoothie options, would go back for smoothies again someday.

Pros: Delicious, Plenty of vegan smoothie options, Two outdoor tables in the shade

Cons: Bit pricey , No food options if you’re hungry

Love!!!

Born and raised on this beach, I'm very familiar with the area. It is a MUST that you come here for your acai. I don't think it's expensive because the taste is priceless. I've seen businesses in this area add acai bowls to their menu but I wouldn't dare try their's because I know who has the best. The Juice Shack is where it's at and you can pretty much sub anything to create your acai bowl dream.

Pros: So yummy, Substitution options, Friendly

Yummy

Pablo's Acai/Pitaya bowls taste amazing, I highly suggest you try them out. My only complaint is they are kind of pricey. My Acai bowl was twelve and the outstanding was 13 plus tax.

Pros: Friendly, Delicious

Cons: A bit pricey

Vegan-friendly, amazing acai

My dad brought me to OC with him for work and I was super excited to spot the Juice Shack driving through.
The restaurant has a super cool, casual, beachy vibe and the staff was very friendly. The resturant is actually jointed with a sushi bar offering veggie sushi rolls and veggie sushi burritos as well.
Looking at the menu most of the items are not vegan as the smoothies and acai bowls contain products like whey protein and honey. Fortunately, the staff was very accommodating of my request for an acai bowl without the honey (I now know the hemp granola is free of honey!) and I am sure they could make their smoothies whey free as well.
It was our first time trying a real acai bowl and it is perhaps one of most delicious things ever! My omni Dad was surprised at how good it was and actually thought the acai was chocolate! We saw they offer a pitaya bowl to which is another amazing option!
The only negative aspect of the Juice Shack is that the bowls are served in styrofoam cups and the prices are a tad bit expensive ($12.95+ for acai and pitaya bowls) so it's definitely a treat.
Overall the experience was excellent and I would not mind returning for more next time i are in OC.

Pros: vegan-friendly, Friendly staff, AMAZING acai

Cons: styrofoam bowls, Pricey
