We had pakeezah on our first night in
Bozeman and we’re so glad that we did…we had leftovers for 2 meals afterwards! Our favorites were the kofta curry, and the spicy lentil dish!
One of my favorite vegan restaurant in Bozeman - Edit
I’ve lived as a vegan in Bozeman for 3 years. This is my favorite place, large portions of food with flavor! Usually can make 2 meals out of one entrée. They have 8 listed vegan options. More can be made with substitutions. I love spicy food this is one of the only restaurants in Bozeman that actually makes their food spicy I usually get 4/5 spice. It’s equivalent to a 8/5 for most restaurants in Bozeman.
I always try to hunt down Indian food when I’m traveling because I know it will be easy to find a vegan option. I loved that their menu detailed exactly what was vegan (and gluten free!)
I ordered the mixed vegetable kofta curry, and it was good. I’ve never tried this dish elsewhere before, so I don’t have anything to compare to. I did find the dumplings hard to stab my fork/knife into so I could cut them up, so that would be my only complaint. We also had samosas for an appetizer- 2 for $9 seemed like a bit much for a small-ish portion. They were also tasty.
Our server told us that when he asks how spicy our food is desired, on a 1-5 scale, a 2 is considered sriracha level. I like a slight spice to my food, ordered a 1.5, and thought my kofta was a little too spicy. I recommend a 1 all the time unless you’re a maniac LOL
Since Pakeezah opened, I have eaten there quite a few times. It has been delicious every time. At lunch, they offer a buffet and they always have a vegan option, but you get what you get. Lunch has always been good, but I prefer dinner so I can order what I want. I was always so bummed the next day when my husband would eat the leftovers, so I resolved that issue by ordering an extra entree for us to take home and have for lunch the next day. There are a number of options for vegans (I’m sure I’ve tried them all by now) and I would recommend any of them. Of course I have my personal favorites but I haven’t had anything I didn’t like.

Really really good - Edit
I've been a couple times and everything I've tried was exceptional. It's a little on the expensive side, but you get a lot of food.
