One of a kind - Edit
Whole Vegetarian Food is a one of it's kind food store in Edmonton which caters to vegetarians. It has a large selection of dried and frozen items, especially faux meats and noodles. Much of the labelling is in asian languages, but if you ask the lady at the till she will be more than glad to help you out with reading the packaging.
As other reviewers mentioned, do careful reading of the ingredients if you are vegan, many of the items contain egg ingredients.
The prices are also very reasonable. I make a point to visit this shop about once a month and stock up on little goodies.
Pros: lots of selection, helpful staff
Cons: hard to find, bit of a hole-in-the-wall, not a great neighbourhood

Worth looking for - Edit
The first two times I went to look for Whole Vegetarian, I got hopelessly lost, the third time I got lucky and accidentally found Veggie Garden and one of the staff practically walked me there. Its a cosy little store, the staff know the products really well and make lots of good suggestions for how to use, store and make the best of everything they sell. Even though its easy to walk past, Whole Vegetarian is worth taking a look at.
Pros: decent prices, knowledgeable staff , very good selection
Cons: hard to find

Weird products but good selection - Edit
This place is pretty neat. I like that I can buy a huge bag of fake meat for pretty cheap. The bag will last forever too. Unfortunately not everything here is vegan. Some of the fake meats contain: albumen, casein, whey protein, and other weird non vegan ingrediants. Just be dilligent when checking labels. The store is a little sketchy inside and always smells like something died in the wall. My only turn off to the place.
Pros: Cheap, Huge portions, Great selection
Cons: Smells gross inside, not everything vegan

Tons of mock meat/ vegan friendly food - Edit
This place has more mock meat / non-vegan meat than any other vegetarian store I've been to in Edm. Unless there's another that just opened?
Pros: Tons of variety, Close to centralEdm, Close toPadmanadi resto & veggie markets
Cons: Tiny store, No fresh produce

Exciting - Edit
Wow, Edmonton now has its very own completely vegetarian food store. Lots of imported food from Asia. Centrally located in China town, friendly staff, good selection. Great opportunity to support the growth of vegetarian lifestyle locally.
Pros: clean, central, friendly
