Not too Impressed - Edit
I appreciate that the staff were helpful at pointing out what vegan options were available but this restaurant is not for vegans.
Read moreI wouldn’t come back here next time just simply because I can get plain chow mein anywhere. They subbed the egg noodles for rice noodles and couldn’t offer me any of their sauces other than soy.

Bland few options - Edit
We had family tofu and spinach with smashed garlic and some rice. Since we had lunch not long before, it was enough for two people.
Read moreIt was not many vegan options on the menu, and we also discovered that the family tofu usually contains fish sauce. But we got it veganized.
Despite previous reviews praising their knowledge of veganism, we found that they did not have much understanding of it. We had to ask about every single ingredient: does it contain fish, egg, or milk?
The family tofu consisted of silken tofu with some vegetables in a thin sauce. Although the menu indicated it was spicy, it wasn't spicy at all. Same with the spinach. We used two servings of the chilli sauce that came with the meal.
Overall, our visit was a pleasant experience. Our total was just under 3,000 lek, which was reasonable for three dishes, two beers, and a large bottle of sparkling water.
If you enjoy bland Chinese food, I recommend this place. However, be aware that they have limited vegan options, and none of the noodles can be veganized as they all contain eggs. The same with the rice dishes, only plain rice is vegan. Oriental city is not on my list over restaurants I gonna visit again.
Cons: Bland food

Good Chinese food - Edit
Nice to have some spicy food during our travels.
Read moreWaitress helped to advice which dishes could be made vegan as they had ran out of tofu which was one of the reasons we went.
Pros: Waitress was knowledgeable about veganism, Large servings! Took away left overs
Cons: There was no tofu available when we went :(

Real Chinese food, loads of vegan options - Edit
Nice restaurant offering real Chinese food. Ask for both menus (they have one for Chinese people and one for foreigners) .
Read moreNice decoration inside, owned by a Chinese guy. Would recommend if you like Chinese food!
Not the cheapest, but prices are fair. For 5 dishes cost 3500 lek.
