Serves meat, vegan options available. A cafe/restaurant near the Albania Air Stadium, designed around the Spanish surrealist painter, Joan Miró. Offers predominantly Mediterranean cuisine, some of which are vegan, including quinoa, a green salad, avocado & zucchini tapas, avocado toast and a Mediterranean quinoa which can be made vegan. Upon request, the staff can also create a vegan falafel burger. Vegan beverages include a large number of teas, wines, beers and coffees. Cozy spot for breakfast - Edit
Probably the most flavorful meal I've had in Tirana so far. We came for breakfast, the interior is super cozy with the brick, fireplace and chill music (it was also a rainy morning, so double that). We got the vegan shakshuka and vegan savory toast, both were really tasty. They also have a vegan sweet toast and then for lunch vegan quinoa salad. Nothing mindblowing but it wasn't just a plain avo toast, all nicely flavored. The waitress messed up our order at first and brought non-vegan stuff but I think it was just a language barrier, we quickly got the correct meals afterwards and it was overall a nice experience.

Wouldn't recommend - Edit
Service was slow and our waiter confused. We waited for simple black coffee for about 30', and had to remind her twice about it. No plant milk available. Saw 2-3 vegan options for food incl quinoa salad and vegan toast. Toast was super simple, but fresh and tasty and avocado ripened perfectly tho.

Well executed basics - Edit
We came into town quickly and this was the only good option open late on a Sunday night. We ordered every vegan option, the avocado toast, quinoa salad and falafel. All were very fresh. You can tell they were just made, not kept in bulk, which was nice. We were there thirty minutes before close when we started so we did not expect the hospitality or freshness we received.

Delicious breakfast - Edit
Unfortunately the menu was in Albanian so we had to do some translation but we managed to order an avocado toast - which they added spinach and tomatoes. Very tasty bread. We also had freshly squeezed orange juice.

It's like dining in a painting! - Edit
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Miró. 'Twas such a charming, cozy and unexpected find, with marvelous paintings by the great Spanish surrealist artist adorning the walls.
Read moreThe staff do speak English, and understand what veganism is. In fact, our gracious and hospitable server, with a beautiful soul tattoo, upon my mentioning I was vegan, offered to customize and adapt elements of dishes to create something uniquely delicious for me (as, at this time of day, there were not many patrons dining in)--she presented me with several options off the top of her head: A Mediterranean quinoa salad, topped with falafel or a falafel burger.
My husband (a vegetarian) also enjoyed, immensely, his stack of decadent maple syrup glazed pancakes with sliced bananas.
The taste is excellent, quality high, ambiance enchanting, and the staff are perfection!
We hope to come back when we return to Tirana.
Pros: It's beautiful inside!, Wonderfully kind and knowledgeable staff!, Vegan customization!
Cons: Not everything is vegan, Menu is not in English
