Real hummus - Edit
This is the best hummus I've had on this side of the ocean. Not only was the hummus delicious, but all the trimmings as well: pita, pickles, fries, mint tea, and more. The physical restaurant is also a lovely and welcoming space. Should be 5 stars, except for serving meat.

Read moreEverything was good, & was able to get a falafel sandwich & fries to sneak into the movies. They also have different pre packaged take away hummus, & eggplant, labeled vegan, some items are not vegan so be sure to check.

Cons: Somewhat pricey , The fresh hummus dishes are covered in oil 😝

Love Oren’s Hummus - Edit
Great hummus, soft yet crispy falafel, and plant based lamb. Vegan options are marked. My favorite Mediterranean restaurant that I have been to, simply because everything is delicious. I also like that I can order a plate of the plant based lamb with whatever sides I am feeling that day (hummus, rice, salad, eggplant, etc).

Tasty. Amazing pita/hummus - Edit
This place seemed a bit expensive but it's SF so it comes with the territory. They make their own pita and hummus in house and they're both really tasty. I tried the plant-based lamb and it was filling and pretty flavorful if not mind-blowing. I also got a falafel wrap to go the next day and it was a great lunch. If you like spicy definitely try their hot sauces (red/green; green is hotter).

Update: My initial review of this place was not super positive, because I tried them as a delivery order. By the time the food arrived, it was cold, and they had forgotten my pita bread. I went back today and dined in, and I have to say that this place more than redeemed itself. I would totally give them five stars if I could because the food is high quality and delicious. This is a must-try if you are staying in this area. I recommend getting a bunch of small plates and sharing them with a friend if you can. Everything is marked vegan, and there are wonderful salads, dips, and breads.

This place was really enjoyable for dinner. The hummus was delicious and the falafel was really good. This is a good place to go with friends/family who eat meat. The menu also clearly labeled what was gluten free as well!

The best hummus of my life - Edit
I ordered the classic hummus plate. It came with warm, soft and delicious pita bread. The hummus was so good and smooth, I never had better one! I got also a small complimentary salad. The portion was bigger than I expected and it filled me up for the whole afternoon.

I love hummus and can make a meal out of it any time! I ordered the wheat pitas, and I think I like the regular better. I ordered the basic hummus order and a side of falafel. I forgot to have them hold the oil so do that if you don’t want the extra fat. The hummus and falafel tasted great. They had baclava but had honey. No other vegan desserts. #Veganuary

Lots of vegan options, and our server was really friendly and sweet, but the food was just okay. I got a hummus falafel pita sandwich and a side of brussel sprouts. The falafel was really crispy and flavorful but I was disappointed by how little hummus there was. The brussel sprouts were honestly gross. They were soggy and had kind of a fishy taste, which was really unsettling for a vegan dish.

This restaurant is very convenient to Market Street, and it has a sit down option and a takeaway section. I ordered the falafel hummus wrap and, while I liked the soft pita, the falafel wasn’t great and the wrap needed more flavor overall. For $10, I expect more and probably won’t be back.
