Orelha D'Elefante está a las afueras de Ponte de Lima, en una ubicación incómoda para llegar a pie pero tranquila.
Read moreLa comida es buena y se nota de calidad, con una crema de verduras como primer plato, y otro segundo a consultar. Cada día hay un menú diferente, de elaboración propia y casera. Importante hacer reserva del mismo antes de ir, ya que puede llenarse. Los postres que hacen son también destacables
El local es acogedor y agradable, al igual que la atención.
Tienen también productos a la venta, tanto elaborados allí como ya hechos y a granel. Estos van desde comida a productos de limpieza ecológicos.
En definitiva, un sitio más que bueno en el que comer si te queda a mano.

Just outside of the quaint medieval town of Ponte de Lima, in an unassuming location, is lovely slice of vegan heaven. The owners have clearly poured a lot of love and time into the place.

There is also a small shop section where you will find organic products that it’s hard to find elsewhere in this rural area.

Amazing healthy vegan food - Edit
We visited this week whilst on holiday in Fontão, it was by far the best meal we had all week. Tasty food, using local healthy ingredients, generous portions at an affordable price. The service was brilliant too - welcoming and friendly! We will definitely come again if in the area.

I ventured to risk showing up without a reservation, as I don't have a SIM card in my phone to call, nor do I have SM. I got a table within 5 minutes! So happy!
Read moreThe menu changes daily, and there's one option and one option only...on the day I went, it was a bowl of lentil soup with FRESH, FRESH herbs and the most delightful quinoa salad with grilled tempeh, fresh greens, roasted corn, paper thin slices of beet and radish, and Cauliflower cream sprinkled with sesame seeds. Green tea was included. I also ordered a beetroot kombucha and a slice of blueberry cake topped with blueberry compote, just the right amount of flaked salt, and a fresh mint leaf. It was all beautifully presented and sooooo yummy!
Highly recommend!

Encomendámos um bolo de limão e coco para uma festa de 50 anos e foi uma enorme desilusão. Estava completamente sem sabor — nem limão, nem coco — e a textura também não funcionava. Foi servido num momento especial, com familiares não vegan presentes, e infelizmente passou uma imagem muito fraca da pastelaria vegan. Era a nossa primeira vez a encomendar deste restaurante e, sinceramente, foi o pior bolo que já comi. Pode ser que tenhamos tido azar, mas ficou uma péssima primeira impressão.

We arrived a little after opening, and even though they typically take reservations, they kindly found a spot for us—which we really appreciated. Just a heads-up: it's best to book ahead! They take reservation via phone, Facebook, and Instagram.

On the day we visited, we enjoyed tea, a leek and cauliflower soup, spaghetti with lentil sauce, and a fresh salad. We also tried the dessert—and it did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! 10/10.

This is the best and only fully vegan place around and for everyone who stays in Galicia or around there should pay a visit! We got a table last minute and enjoyed the wonderful menu.

We arrived on a Friday lunchtime but we didn’t have a reservation and sadly they couldn’t accommodate us. The friendly staff explained they only cook enough for each reservation to avoid food waste, which is a great philosophy. It was very popular and the food looked amazing! We will come back another time. 4* for friendly staff and no-waste philosophy but can’t rate the food as sadly unable to try.

Read moreThey care a lot about the ingredients that they use to cook as well as the food waste. Also they try to reduce as much as posible by having reservations and they make a bit more for walk ins.
You can see who cooks and how since it’s an open kitchen. Highly recommended
