No longer good option - Edit
They used to have a salad that came vegan which had chick peas and cauliflower rice. They updated this salad and now it has yogurt sauce. They used to have a vegan Mexican dish with tofu and I believe they had a vegan burger which they got rid of this year. Now you can get a granola bar and you can modify the side of asparagus for no butter. I believe oatmeal is one of the only things that is listed vegan with no modifications. One time I went in and they did not want to modify to make a salad vegan. I live by this restaurant and it used to be like busboys and poets with so many options. Like why even make vegetarian options when vegan covers both !
Read morePros: Nice employees , Employees usually will make a modification , Good coffee
Cons: They specifically cut out all the good vegan food , Oatmeal or asking for asparagus with no butter , After having had all those options before !!!

Very limited vegan options, inconsistent service - Edit
On the plus side, the menu clearly indicates the vegetarian options with a (V) or vegan options with a (VV). The downside is that there are only a couple of vegan options (oatmeal, or house salad). For what it's worth my friend gave the house salad a thumbs-down and didn't finish it. I tried the mushroom Reuben sandwich (without cheese) and it wasn't bad but was oilier than expected. We had a couple of glitches with service (soup served with no spoon, some people skipped over during order-taking). Might be a better choice for coffee than a vegan meal. Fun, cheery outdoor decor; indoor seating is fine but can feel a little cramped on a crowded day
Read morePros: Clear flag for vegetarian and vegan items
Cons: Very limited vegan options, House salad wasn't a winner, Minor

Nice place but not vegan (or veg?) friendly - Edit
I live around the corner and I want this restaurant to be good, but there is a reason it hasn’t been listed on Happy Cow. There are few vegetarian choices and even fewer vegan. It’s a nice place to take omnivore visitors. I usually get only iced tea. All-day brunch menu lists only oatmeal as vegan. Previously had more vegan choices. Today I met an old friend there. I decided to see if they could make a custom made breakfast burrito. The first time it came out, it was their standard burrito with not vegan eggs, not vegan chorizo, not vegan cheese, some creme sauce. I explained again what I wanted. It came back with all the ingredients, but wrapped in an omlette. They aren’t careful with people’s dietary restrictions. This restaurant should not be on Happy Cow.
Read morePros: Nice patio, Dog treats, 50 yards from home
Cons: Almost nothing vegan. Very little vegetarian. , Don’t take vegetarian/vegan requests seriously. , Consistently mess up vegan orders.
