Very simple restaurant with amazing food. I ordered the combo plate, which I didnt see on the menu -- the Artichoke, Cauliflower, and Mushroom mix. It was delicious. The service was fantastic, very friendly, and very helpful when trying to decide what to order. The small salads that came with the meal were also fantastic. Perfectly spiced, slightly picante, just the way I like it. Once ordered, the food came out rather quickly, which is a definite plus since I was pretty hungry. And the price was good, too.

Although Omer's is primarily a meat restaurant, the Vegan options transcend the standard Houmous/Felafel on which vegetarians here are expected to subsist. When I spoke to Omer, I learned why. His dream is to operate a vegan restaurant. The current incarnation of Omer's is dictated by the carnivorous tste of the people in Eilat. The restaurant ios definitely worth a visit if you are in Eilat, although it is slightly off the beaten path for tourists.
