Market

Fresh fruits & veggies. Has almost everything except a serve yourself salad bar. I always like having that option.

Pros: Fresh lettuce was good., We were also looking for a sun hat & found it!, Good selection

Cons: No soup &/or salad bar option., On the pricey side

Wonderful store right in Sisters

As the only health food store in the small town of Sisters, Melvin's Fir Street Market does not disappoint. They have plenty of vegan items in their freezer section (think Amy's Kitchen entrees) and in their non-perishable section (I bought locally-produced vegan hot cocoa). They had freshly-made barley and vegetable soup (as well as chicken noodle) on the day that I stopped by. Although I didn't buy any, their produce was decently priced. I would definitely recommend this store if you're looking to avoid driving all the way to Bend or Redmond.

Cons: Can be pricey
