Not suitable for vegans

Ordered the vegan Stifado. Discovered a piece of lamb in the side of veggies it comes with (non vegan hubby confirmed). Informed Manager who apologised and brought another back. Halfway through eating the stifado dish (musaaka type dish) discovered a piece of lamb in that. How was this n accident twice?? I was offered another meal but had lost all faith by that point. Completely ruined family meal out.

Delightful vegan options

What a delightful find. We popped over to this beautiful relaxed restaurant for dinner. Such a stunning look with the twinkly Christmas lights, it made it feel very special. Food was delicious, just the right portion size. The "bacon" on the vegan burger was cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable, thank you.

Pros: Several vegan options for each course, Beautiful surroundings, very festive lights , Friendly staff

Cons: None, None, None

Fab venue with plenty of veg and vegan options

We visited here 13 April, 2021, so some Covid measures still in place. We sat outside but the area was well sheltered with heaters so not cold at all. There were several vegan options, not the usual fries, salad, hummus and carrot sticks thankfully. We were told the owner is vegan so makes sure there are good vegan options! In the end we had the jackfruit fritters and the olives to start. The fritters were very similar to chicken texture, delicious. The olives had chilli and lemon (says vegetarian on the menu but they are vegan). For mains hubby had the halloumi avocado toast (vegetarian)and I had the vegan burger. I honestly thought the burger was Beyond Meat, but they are made in house. All excellent. Price wise, not as cheap as some restaurants, but you get what you pay for and it was all very good. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Will defo return. For price guide we paid £35 for two starters, 2 mains and two (pints) beer.

Pros: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, Cozy outside seating, nice inside too

Cons: None I can think of. My stomach was too small!
