Cosy pub with separate vegan menu - Edit
Had a nice dinner here recently. There’s nothing in the pub to suggest this but there’s an entirely separate vegan menu which had 6 mains on it. I had a vegetable curry which while not pushing the envelope was highly enjoyable. Would happily visit again.

It's nice that a pub like this has a whole vegan menu - including dessert - but the pasta I had was not great. Overcooked spaghetti and very plain sauce, I added a LOT of salt and pepper.

Heaps of vegan options - Edit
There's lots of your standard pub menu items, but vegan options! Pasta, risotto, burger, curry, garlic bread, and plenty of others. We had the vegan garlic bread which was lovely and soft bread and tasty. Then we had the curry with rice and the burger. The curry was advertised that it would come with flatbread but it didn't (not that I needed it, because it was a big serving) and the burger came with a small number of wedge-chips (but was realistically enough.) The burger patty is falafel and quite squishy, which some people would be happy with and others wouldn't. Overall, a good option for vegans and vegetarians, especially if you're looking for somewhere with options for people with lots of different tastes.

They have a seperate vegan menu, and are very happy to bring it out when asked about it.
Read moreThere were entrees, mains and desserts on it. All mains had the option to add mock meat for $6. That sounded a bit steep, but I got the pasta and added the mock chicken and it was the birds eys chicken style pieces, and it was nearly a whole packet of them!
But the pasta would have been hearty without it, with big chunks of pumpkin and mushroom. I couldn't finish it all, aa hard as I tried! It was a delicious dark, deep flavoured tomato pasta sauce.

Reduced vegan menu - Edit
The food I had was really nice, I had Vg garlic bread starter and Vg veg risotto main. All really tasty and fresh. Staff were super friendly. The vegan menu was much smaller than the menu in the photos here.

Menu roughly:
Starters - Breads
Mains - Risotto/Pasta/Vegi burger/greek salad/thai salad
Dessert - brownie/date pudding/sorbet
From my experience it appears they are now running a reduced version of previous vegan menus. It would be great to have slightly more choice, and maybe some more interesting dishes. I.e. the previous risotto was a creamy dish including mock chicken, i was given a tomato/veg risotto.

We were SUPER impressed with their pizza and open souvlaki which had the most awesome mock chicken meat ever! 10/10 there though but pricey. For dessert we had sticky date pudding which was okay but had to wait 45 minutes for this after mains and we only got it because we asked again where it was. Overall pretty good would go just for the mains😄

I really enjoyed my meal here, however, elements were missing. I had the falafel souvlaki which was missing the beetroot hummus and for dessert I had the brownie which was missing the berry sorbet.

Great vegan options - Edit
Really happy with their vegans options from entree to dessert. I had the 100% not chicken souvlaki and really enjoyed it and felt so full afterwards. my daughter had the vegan roasted veg pizza, and had a taste which was very good too. Their homemade vegan mozzarella cheese was great. I did still manage to try their dessert though, had the sticky date pudding which was alright.

When a group of us first went to the Old Boundary Hotel, they offered us a fabulous vegan banquet style menu but there were only a couple of vegan options on their regular menu. We've just been back after hearing that they now offer a regular vegan menu and, boy, was it delicious. I don't know how I do it, but I always seem to order the biggest meal on the menu and tonight was no exception, As yummy as it was, I could only eat half of the Massaman curry because I had to leave room for dessert. I chose the vegan brownie with raspberry sorbet and popcorn and loved it!

Housemade vegan cheese on the pizza burgers were incredible!! I had the field burger and it was delicious, the mustard pizza as a starter was also loved by my omni Dad Brother, winning!!

Delicious, healthy and plentiful meal. Having more than one option makes it hard to decide what to try!
