Great Vegan Korean Food - Edit
You order from an english menu on a screen. We had the Bulgogi, noodles in black bean sauce, fried dumplings and the fried soy chicken for around 40.000 ₩. All dishes tasted great and the serving sizes were quite large. Some propaganda was shown on the TVs but could be ignored since they were muted

Interesting vibe and good menu - Edit
Quite large all vegan menu. The cafe seems to be affiliated with a (seemingly harmless) cult so there is weird pseudo-religious propaganda on the TVs, but the food is really good. Staff don’t speak much English but you order from a screen. Big serving sizes.

Great lunch spot in convenient area - Edit
This is a great lunch spot in a location that’s super convenient to lots of sightseeing. Service is fast and portions are big, plus they serve about a million banchan with your meal. The spicy wheat-meat stew and kimchi dumplings were a huge standout.
Read moreIt’s affiliated with the followers of the person who calls herself the Supreme Master, which I didn’t realize. The propaganda videos on the TVs all over the restaurant make me a little uncomfortable but this is a larger space which makes them pretty easy to ignore. I mention this only so people know what they’re getting into.

Delicious Korean Vegan Food - Edit
This place has an extensive vegan menu with traditional Korean food. If you want to immerse yourself in the food, this is the right place. Their tofu stew is delicious, they have a variety of side dishes (banchan) and the fried chicken is crunchy, sweet and spicy. It gets really busy and their last order is at 8pm. We accidentally ordered their L size of some of their dishes but it was really big for 2. We visited this place twice.

Loved it! - Edit
We came here with a group of friends and ordered 4-5 dishes from the menu. The fried chicken was everyone’s favorite, but the spicy stew and rice dishes were also great! Only downside is the food came out a bit cold, but was still tasty.

The wontons were fantastic, and the rice cakes in the red sauce were extremely filling! Be warned 😂
One downside is the weird Supreme Master vegan TV show they had playing on loop.
Pros: The quality of the food , Traditional Korean , Free unlimited tea
Cons: Supreme Master TV show on loop?

It's been a while - Edit
It was probably around 2007 when I first visited this restaurant. Back then the only available seatings are on the floor and you'd have to take off your shoes. Now,it's all changed: no more sitting on the floor and you don't have to take off your shoes. The menu has also been simplified. One thing that I noticed was that the flavor was not as strong as it used to be and that's a good thing.

Vegan Korean dishes - quick and simple - Edit
I have been here 3 times now. I love the food but they increased prices around 2k starting this September and the service is sometimes not good that’s why 4 stars
Read moreI had the sweet & spicy Korean chicken (without side dishes unfortunately) was lukewarm but delicious, the spicy beef soup (amazing) and the Spicy chicken with lettuce and sides (amazing)
Free wifi and water. Nice atmosphere
You sit on the ground. Like I said it’s sad that they increased prices (Bibimbap and most dishes now 12k instead of 10)
You can buy some products there

Must visit when in Seoul - Edit
One of my favorite restaurants in Seoul. I like the sweet sour "pork" (baked muchrooms and - I think - soy chunks) and the kimchi mandu best.

The classic - Edit
Osegyehyang is one of Seoul's first vegan restaurants, and it is still one of the first places people go to when visiting Seoul. Located in Insadong, this restaurant is in a key area of the city and a standard vegan place for Koreans and tourists.
Read moreThey offer mainly Korean cuisine and have veganized the most common Korean dishes. Thus, it is nice to eat here if you're looking for a taste of classic Korean food but without meat or seafood.
15 years ago, when there were no other vegan options in Seoul, I used to come here almost every day. Now, there are many more vegan restaurants in the city and more exciting food options. Still, I occasionally eat here when I have a craving for a certain Korean dish that I cannot make at home.
Over the years, the menu and the taste has almost not changed, although there used to be a more generous use of different ingredients... Food still generally tastes okay.
The restaurant is located at the end of an alley that can be hard to find if you're unfamiliar with Insadong's maze-like alley structure. The interior has been redone recently, so there are only Western-style tables and chairs. You now place an order via the touch screen on your table. The atmosphere varied from friendly to unfriendly, rushed, and distanced. #Veganuary

Great variety, fast service - Edit
This place is hopping, and for good reason! You order on a screen at your table, and most dishes have English labels (all have photos). We ate there twice and I loved the mushroom rolls, "steamed outer leaves of greens with soybean paste and sesame," hot pot, bulgogi, the banchan, and the fried eggs! They also served us free Solomon seal tea (only in winter), which was very nice.

Good tofu soup and dumplings - Edit
I ordered the tofu soup with garlic and onion. It was tasty but my only complaint was that it was a bit on the salty side from my palate. (I eat a fairly low sodium diet fwiw) The spices were on point though. The pang chan were good/yummy. The kimchee dumplings were well done. Overall, i was pleased with the meal. Just wish i had more of an appetite to try more!

Just ok - Edit
I’m happy to have found some vegan Korean food quickly and easily after arriving in Seoul, but the food was just ok, not amazing. We actually thought we had gone to the wrong place because there are a lot of vegan places in the area according to Happy Cow and we thought maybe we had accidentally walked into one of the less well reviewed restaurants; it didn’t seem like the place we were in justified all the high star reviews. But it was ok. I had the tofu stew and enjoyed it.
Read moreI am looking forward to trying other vegan restaurants in Seoul.
Pros: Vegan Korean food
Cons: Slightly disappointing , Supreme Master TV
