Surprise Vegan Menu - Edit
Wow! Surprise, there is a full vegan page (be thankful for what we have) on the Ocala's Downtown Diner menu. This, as far as I know, is a FIRST for Ocala. Thank you, guys! With both breakfast and lunch classic American menu items, this is a great place to go have breakfast with friends or a burger and fries for lunch! I have the Mushroom Beyond Burger and it was fantastic. Also, the thick cut curly fries are great.

Great place to visit....I eat here 1-2 times a week and have never been disappointed in any of the breakfast, lunch, or dessert choices. Get your Beyond burgers fix here!!! The Vegan carrot cake is amazing, but they do have other options as well. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. :)

Retro diner with vegan menu! Five Stars! - Edit
This awesome retro style diner really deserves five stars! The atmosphere is amazing with Route 66 signs, coke and Root Beer in glass bottles and a genuine roadside diner feel. The menu is nearly half vegan and there’s so much to choose from. The server was super sweet and very well informed about a vegan’s diet. I got the “grown-up grilled cheese” made with Daiya cheese and it was so tasty! Kudos to this restaurant for what they offer us and thank you!

Huge vegan menu of diner food! - Edit
Ocala's Downtown Diner is a destination every time I visit my folks in FL now. We drive 40 minutes to get there, it's the only restaurant even close to where they live that offers vegan options on the menu and their options are incredible! We've been there twice now and each time have left full and happy. My parents got traditional diner food and loved it, I got the not-chicken philly the first time and the buffalo not-chicken sandwich this time.

Delicious vegan diner food - Edit
Ocala Downtown Diner is an amazing stop for anyone while visiting Ocala or even if you are just passing thru, as they are just a few minutes off I-75! A great (and increasing) vegan menu provides breakfast and lunch choices, you can’t go wrong here. It is traditional diner food with a vegan twist. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and the owners have gone out of their way, even providing vegan condiments such as vegan margarine and vegan mayo! They even put in a completely separate fryer for the fries to avoid cross-contamination! A must visit😀

They had a LONG menu for vegans! I got the not so chicken philly, and it was fantastic. Definitely a must-go if you’re a vegan or if you like diner food! My fiancé got the Impossible Burger, which was the vegan special of the day. That was amazing too!

This place rules! They have so many vegan options and carry both the beyond burger and the impossible burger! They serve breakfast and have flavored iced coffee/ espresso beverages that can be made vegan. I ordered the kraut beyond burger which was really tasty and satifysing. It was served with magical fries that were somewhere between a steak fry and a curly fry! If you’re vegan or vegetarian and want a great diner experience, definitely check this place out!

Had lunch today 1/6/18 and had a the best non-meat that I have ever had. This diner serves traditional and vegan options. They use Beyond Meat products along with Daiya cheese options. This place is quite the gem.

Very Nice Surprise - Edit
We were headed home from Disney World when lunchtime arrived. We pulled up Happy Cow and this diner showed up. We pulled off the interstate and located the small diner. Our surprise came with a page of Vegan dishes. The meal was tasty and plentiful. Staff was competent and friendly. Diner was clean and tidy.

Great Diner Vegan Options - Edit
We visited Ocala’s Downtown Diner after visiting the Kindred Spirits Animal Sanctuary. They had an entire menu devoted to Vegans including Almond Creamer for the coffee. We had the BBQ Beyond Burger which was delicious and came with AMAZING fries! All of the food is made fresh to order which was great but led to a wait which staff apologized tremendously for. The only complaint I had was that I often heard comments that I’m sure were jokes from staff about “those vegans”. To me, I laughed, to someone else these comments could seem rude and disrespectful. All in all, I will be returning to enjoy all the amazing vegan options! Maybe offer some vegan desserts because I would have died for a piece of pie or a “milkshake”! Keep up the great work and thank you for creating such a wonderful menu for us!

Extensive vegan menu! - Edit
Had a fantastic lunch today! Some of us were vegan, and ordered from the vegan menu, and some chose meat options. The stuffed breakfast burrito was delicious, and the not-so-chicken Philly was great. They serve Beyond Burgers as well. Serving sizes were huge, and everything was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back, and tell my friends!

They offer a full vegan menu, including pancakes, waffles, beyond meat burger, and vegan bbq. The beyond meat burger was delicious! I would recommend this to any vegan/vegetarian looking for a family-like atmosphere and good food. (Would’ve rated it a 5/5 star but the site requires 5 stars for fully veg/vegan restaurants)
