Nice food and friendly staff - Edit
Universo Vegano in Parma is a nice small chain restaurant offering a large menu with ranging from pizzas to sandwiches, from salads to more refined dishes. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable, and will welcome you with a smile. I was also offered a small free appetiser while waiting for my order. I had a hummus ball sprinkled with seeds, and then a large dish with salad, roasted potatoes, a very big portion of vegan kebab served with a homemade turmeric bun, and a selection of vegan mayo and spicy sauce. The portions are big and filling, but not at all heavy. Definitely recommended.

I didn’t think I would like this place because I thought it would be a typical vegan burger joint but was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance - it doesn’t seem like fast food, but a proper restaurant. I tried to order one of their daily specials but was informed that the specials had finished for the day, so I settled for their mushroom and curcuma risotto. It was creamy and delicately flavoured, the mushrooms juicy - my only complaint is that the portion was rather small for the price. Still, it came with a complimentary bread basket, and the waiter was attentive and kind.

Good vegan restaurant in Parma - Edit
I was in Parma for business, was in my B&B, was very tired and didn't want to go out to have my vegan dinner, I called O'Vita and I joyfully discovered that they offer a home delivery service through a local food delivery society. They have a huge menu offering single courses, appetizers, vegan burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, soups, main dishes, desserts... I chose vegan lasagna with vegetable ragout (delicious!), an enormous soy burger with whole-meal bread, vegenese, vegan cheese (it was so yummy, but there was a little too much ketchup for me), and two vegan desserts -one for my breakfast ;)

Vegan version of many (italian) dishes - Edit
An amazing variety of dishes available! I must admit I was a bit held back by the pictures because it seemed like a burger restaurant but they offer so much more. I enjoyed a fresh juice with spirulina and whole grain mushroom risotto and received a free apetizer while waiting. First time during my trip in Italy that I got so much explanation in English. The owner is very friendly indeed. The popularity shows as the place was packed!

A refugee for Veggies in Parma - Edit
The place is very well decorated, clean and cozy, many choices, quick served and delicious! I went there twice, tried rolls, soup and dessert, very fresh and tasty! Strongly recommended. Open hour is long even on sunday, staff is friendly. Anyway, love it!

Fast food totally vegan in the center of Parma. I went many times also with non veg friends and we always appreciate the food. Very good the veghines and the vebab. I haven't tried the pizza and the paella yet but I will. Tasty desserts especially the apple pie, the Sacher pie, the fruit pie, and the cassata pie. They also serve a delicious vegan coke and few vegan beers. Also for take away. Worth the visit!
