Best food in Lisbon! Divine tasting menu - Edit
Great value tasting menu at 40 euro each for 10 courses. Unfortunately I missed a photo of one dish. Kombucha is great value too, 750ml for 6 euro.

Exquisite and creative vegan tapas - Edit
We tried 4 of the various tapas and found each delicious and very special in taste and composition. But the dessert (mousse au chocolate) topped everything ♥️! It is pricey, though, especially considering the amount of food you get - but quality has its price.

Inventive, go with the idea of being surprised! - Edit
The tasting menu is worth it. The food is elevated, complicated, and you can tell that so much thought went into every element of every bite of food. We had a great time.

Wonderful experience - Edit
What a wonderful experience! All the dishes we ate were delicious, and the dessert exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend isn't vegan and said it was one of the best restaurant experiences he's ever had. Plus, the place is very cozy and the service is excellent :)

5 stars - Edit
Three of us went out for what we thought would be a casual dinner… and ended up having one of the most memorable food experiences we’ve had in a long time.
Read moreThis vegan spot completely nails the small-plates concept. We ordered 12 dishes between us (yes, twelve 😄), and not a single one missed. Every plate felt thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly bold—layers of flavor you just don’t always expect, even in great restaurants.
What really stood out was the variety. Each dish had its own personality, from rich and comforting to bright and fresh, with creative combinations that never felt overcomplicated. It’s the kind of place where sharing isn’t just recommended—it’s essential.
And the drinks? The vegan wine selection was just as impressive as the food. Perfect pairings, and clearly curated with care rather than as an afterthought.
The staff tied everything together. Warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic—they guided us through the menu without being pushy, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special at the same time.
We came hungry, left completely satisfied, and are already planning our next visit. If you’re into plant-based food (or even if you’re not), this place proves just how exciting vegan dining can be.

Good food but long wait - Edit
We had the 10 course tasting menu at 7pm. For the first 6 courses the wait for the next dish was long, like 10 minutes. This is long when you finish the dishes with 20 seconds. I was worried when the first few courses were tiny but we arrived very hungry. By the end I was full, i think the waiting made me more hungry. It took the full 2 hours for our dishes to be brought out. I’d just about finished the last dessert and we were asked to leave (next tasting session is at 9).
Read moreThe food overall was great and very inventive. I enjoyed all of the mushroom dishes and the desserts were really yummy (especially the chocolate mousse, the chocolate crumb was tasty). The only dish I wasn’t a fan of was the tempeh; the flavours were quite strong.
It seemed as though other people dining that didn’t order the tasting menu got their food much quicker. All of the food I saw being brought out looked amazing.
I would recommend booking as it was full when we went and there’s not a lots of seating.

Amazing experience - Edit
I had the 10 course tasting menu. Every dish was absolutely delicious, creative and beautiful, full of flavors and textures. The service was really fast (almost too much at times i felt rushed to finish 😂) but i highly prefer this to a slow service! I can't recommend the experience enough. I especially liked the pea purée, falafel dish, lion's mane dish (the smoked taste >>>), the confit celeriac and the black bean tempeh dish. And the deserts were absolutely delicious. Can't recommend the experience enough.
Read moreI can only post 9 pictures so I didnt include the gaspacho dish - really interesting texture and taste wise, but my least favorite!

My favorite meal during my visit - Edit
I was in Lisbon for a week and tried many places, but this was definitely the stand out. The degustation was delightful and creative prepared with quality ingredients. There were no long waits between courses like there can be during multi-course meals, every dish featured new flavors (although mushrooms did appear in at least 3 of the dishes), and the price is unbeatable for such an experience (€35). I only found the chocolate crumbs on the final dessert to be too sugary, but otherwise, a great balance of flavors. Visually appealing too.

absolut perfekter Abend.

You could come here everyday - Edit
The menu is extensive! These are small plates. Think at least three per person to get your fill. But they’re so creative with incredible flavors! I had the crispy cauliflower, which was kind of like gochujang buffalo bites. Then the focaccia with black garlic “butter” and the black bean tempeh. It was absolutely orgasmic. I would 10000% recommend. Please do not miss this restaurant if you come to Lisbon.

Easily the best meal in Lisbon - Edit
We had the tasting menu (see photos) and it blew away everything else we have eaten in this city. Plus friendly staff, beautiful heated covered outdoor seating, and a fun people watching environment. If you’re ordering à la carte (and it’s still the same menu) our favorites were the cured daikon, the sea rice, and the chocolate mousse.

The hype is real, just go here - Edit
Yep, the hype is well-deserved. Not much to say other than what others have already said. We got the 10 course tasting menu (8 courses 2 dessert courses). The portions start out small and progressively increase in size - we were very full at the end. Exceptional, complex-tasting, creatively crafted dishes and a great experience overall! This was our last and best meal during our trip to Lisbon, amazing!

The #1 Vegan Dining Experience EVER! - Edit
I read the reviews of O Gambuzino and we HAD to try this restaurant. First tip: MAKE A RESERVATION! Second Tip: Do the 10-course tasting menu. OMG! The reviews were not overreacting. This was hands down the very best vegan meal I have ever experienced. My Top 3 favs: The King Oyster Mushroom “Scallops”, the Lion’s man yakitori and the Cured daikon dish. But all of them were wonderful in their own way with incredible tastes and textures. I thought nothing could beat the cheesecake desert…until they brought out the chocolate mousse. Just kill me and send me to heaven. We will be back next week before we leave. Just the best gastronomical experience ever!

Lovely food but not great value - Edit
We just ordered 3 dishes between 2 of us, the falafel, cauliflower and bimimbap, the last of which cost 16 euros. Every dish was exceptionally tasty BUT the portions were so small for the price, we really don’t expect to be going home hungry at these prices!
Read moreMy other half is now tucking into peanut butter on toast! They deserve the five star reviews for the quality and inventiveness of the food but, I have to say, we feel a bit ripped off.
Service was variable, the waiting staff were friendly enough but chatted a lot between themselves rather than keeping an eye on our needs.

Really glad to hear you enjoyed the flavours and creativity of the dishes.
Read moreOur à la carte menu is designed for sharing, and our recommendation is three dishes per person. The menu is structured from lighter to more substantial plates, so the experience can vary depending on what is chosen.
In terms of pricing, we aim to offer a fine dining-level experience in terms of quality and technique, while keeping it as approachable as possible. Many of our guests actually find it very fair for the level of cooking, and we’re proud to often be compared to higher-end tasting menu experiences.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and hope to welcome you again.
