Fully vegan 10 course tasting menu for a reasonable price - Edit

Read moreBooked this place for the vegan 10 course tasting menu. There are two sittings per night and the tasting menu is at set times (so you have to leave if first sitting) and you need to book if you wish to have the tasting menu The venue is slightly further away from the main area of town but was still walkable for us. There is an open kitchen and we enjoyed watching the courses be curated.
The jug of sangria we shared was lovely and the food was excellent, it felt like a special treat and it is very rare to find a fully vegan tasting menu. I also cannot fault to price which was INSANELY CHEAP for what felt like a special upmarket experience. There were some courses we enjoyed more than others and next time we would go back and order our favourites.
We ordered some bread on the side as we felt we may go hungry but the courses did get larger as the night progressed and with the bread it was perfect for us.
Overall an excellent experience that I would recommend highly - this really felt like a treat!

The tasting menu was a great experience to try lots of different dishes, and such amazing value at 40 EUR for 10 courses. We booked a table inside which felt a bit nicer than the outside bit which was quite crammed. The staff were friendly but did seem a bit rushed to get us out of our table by 9.15ish for the next tasting sitting - they have a bit of an operation going on to get the two sittings done. would highly recommend though for the price and quality of food!

Read moreThe ten course meal was such a fun experience. The portions were quite small, but at the end of the menu, we were so full!
We had both the wine and the non alcoholic drinks with the menu. Both were very well matched with the served dishes.
The amtosphere inside the outside seating area was cozy and the service was quite fast. However, the area around the restaurant didn‘t feel just as safe, as there were groups of homeless people sitting right next to the cabin-like structure.
One of the waiters also seemed rather grumpy, so the service (albeit fast) didn‘t feel all too welcoming.
All together, we figured that the tasting menu should be seen more as an activity rather than a quick filling meal.

We did the tasting menu. Food was ok, well executed but nothing wow. Some dishes were good, others were ok, and others we ate out of not wanting to waste food. I would suggest booking a table inside as the outside area can be a bit rough (homelessness/drug addiction). The street also stinks of piss so every so often you can pair that with the food.

The menu was imaginative, balanced and well-executed.
We all left full and very happy. This was as good as anything we have eaten in Lisbon and very reasonably priced.

I've had the good fortune of trying several multi-course veg*n tasting menus. This is one of the best I've had, and definitely the very best for its price. The courses were creative and interesting, and actually filling by the end. It had some of the obligatory fancy restaurant tropes (like foam: the "lemon air" was actually lemon foam, but even more airy, hence the name), but these didn't feel too ridiculous. One course had an extremely creative vegan "egg yolk" — it didn't taste anything like the original but looked spectacularly like it. So, it's fun without being silly.

The restaurant is big on fermentation, which is fine for the food, but the drinks were all fermented and just not that interesting to me. I'd say if you're a big kombucha person you would probably love it; if you're not, skip it — there are plenty of other options with and without alcohol. (I think if I'd known that's what it was I would have chosen something else, but when I asked the waiter what the pairing was, he wouldn't give me any useful description at all, which was frustrating in retrospect.)
Drinks aside, the food was terrific. Would definitely do this the next time I'm in Lisbon.

We had an amazing evening at O Gambuzino. The food was fantastic and something really special. The service was really kind and thogtfull. We had both the alcohlic and alcohol free drink pairing. The alcohlic pairing had some realy tasty wines but the alcohol free pairing was something special with every drink. Overall i would absolutely recommend visting O Gambuzino

One of the best places in Lisbon! Incredibly tasty food full of different flavours and textures. Bring a big appetite, because portions are generous but you’ll want to try everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the falafel with hummus as a shared starter, the bibimbap & gado gado as mains and a shared cheesecake as dessert. Must visit in Lisbon!!

We tried 4 of the various tapas and found each delicious and very special in taste and composition. But the dessert (mousse au chocolate) topped everything ♥️! It is pricey, though, especially considering the amount of food you get - but quality has its price.

What really stood out was the variety. Each dish had its own personality, from rich and comforting to bright and fresh, with creative combinations that never felt overcomplicated. It’s the kind of place where sharing isn’t just recommended—it’s essential.
And the drinks? The vegan wine selection was just as impressive as the food. Perfect pairings, and clearly curated with care rather than as an afterthought.
The staff tied everything together. Warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic—they guided us through the menu without being pushy, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special at the same time.
