Fine but not amazing - Edit
I had a nice lunch here but I don’t think it was anything massively special.
Read moreWhilst everything was nice, nothing particularly excited me.
We enjoyed the flatbread, and the risotto but were not fans of the dumplings.
The staff were very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere though.

Incredible - Edit
The meal we had here was incredible. Absolutely gorgeous flavours and some different options to what you might find elsewhere. The sticky hispi was the winner for me, but I enjoyed everything we tried. The blue ‘cheese’ in the charred plum salad was fantastic. I will definitely return on another trip to Nottingham.

MasterChef tasting menu - Edit
Oh my gosh, one word WOW! I had seen Ritchie on MasterChef so immediately looked his restaurant up. We booked in for the special MC tasting menu. Yes, it was a huge treat at £100 per person, but it was absolutely exquisite and worth every penny! 💚 My dining companion is not vegan but was knocked out by everything! ❤️ #Veganuary

Really lovely restaurant - Edit
I loved it here. The wine was delicious. My favourite thing was the fancy hash browns which were super crispy and the corn ribs which had tonnes of flavour. I loved the camembert too. I wasn't a huge fan of the peach salad, it was a bit too floral and the veg was quite garlicky and a bit average.

Wow. My family and I had the taster menu and I had the accompanying paring drinks. The experience was out of this world, every single aspect was explained in detail and superb. I honestly can not recommend enough.

Amazing experience - Edit
We opted for the A La Carte menu and chose the Burrata as a starter which was creamy and smooth, we had 6 “small plates” to share: leek and courgette tart, cauliflower cheese & gochujang, celeriac corn chimichurri, wontons, potato croquettes, parmentier potatos.
Read moreThese were all tasty in their own right but the highlights were the celeriac, corn, chimichurri which was surprisingly tasty. The Cauliflour cheese & gochujang which was a really large plate.
We had the strawberry tart as a desert which was fresh and filling.
They also offer a English wine trio (white, rose and red)

No. Twelve - Edit
I’ve wanted to visit here for some time after hearing lots of good things. I popped in for lunch service and they were luckily able to accommodate me. The venue is beautiful, situated in a lovely courtyard and the building itself full of character. Service was friendly and efficient. The food, as anticipated, was delicious. It is tapas style and 2-3 dishes per person are recommended. For lunch I found 2 were sufficient for me. The food is wonderfully fresh and flavourful. Guests on other tables were not vegan but were highly impressed with their dishes and all plates were returned empty. I can’t wait to revisit for dinner soon. Close by to Old Market Square tram stop, step free access to building.

Love this place. They serve small plates and you are supposed to get 2-4 per person so you end up trying a lot of delicious vegan food. It's on the expensive side but totally worth it. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Amazing lunchtime meal - Edit
My family and I went for the lunchtime deal after having the restaurant recommended to us by multiple people. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the cauliflower satay, broccoli, best mash, and deserts. Everyone loved it, even though most of my family aren't vegetarian. The staff were super friendly and there was a nice atmosphere- we'd definitely go back!

Best meal ever!!!! - Edit
Happy Cow led us to this superb restaurant down an alleyway in central Nottingham. The service was impeccable and the food was out of this world! Best meal ever and I don't mean best vegan meal ever, best meal ever ( and i have travelled a lot!). We chose 4 dishes, inc the bombastically called ‘the best mash you will ever have’… they were right. The gorgeous mash sat in a blackberry jus gravy. Neither of us spoke.. utter silence excluding gasps of delight!! The ‘hen of the woods’ mushroom dish was totally delicious, no idea how they made it so tasty. The cauliflower satay and Middle Eastern bhajis did not disappoint!

Won’t return - Edit
Had the Valentine’s Day menu costing £50 per person (£130) bill. The first dish was the best and it got worse as we went along. For the price you pay for the food here, we expected a lot more. Some of the dishes were seemingly bought in and not made in house (a single chocolate costing £10). The service was very rushed and feel the staff were a bit unfriendly - we saw the back of servers before the food even landed on the table. Oh and the service charge they include on all bills is ludicrous for the service given. Shame really as we were recommended but won’t be returning. Sadly it is doing the vegan community a disservice ripping us off!

Just Amazing - Edit
A non vegan friend recommended this place - she had been with friends who said it was amazing. We went on a Thursday lunch time and it was perfect. Nice small and not over crowded seating area and good service. Probably one of the best meals out I have had all year ….. just incredible - the tastes and flavours were excellent. I can’t stop thinking about the food! We got 6 dishes + bread between 3 of us which was perfect for lunch time. Will be back for sure.

An amazing place to visit if you’re in Nottingham! A beautiful vegan fine dining restaurant with plenty of variety in the menu and nice cocktails as well. Staff were very friendly as well. It is on the more expensive side but the food is incredible so you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend the baked Camembert!

Lovingly arranged tapas selection in menu. We tried 6 different tapas. Each one delicious in its own creation. We sure preferred some over others, but they were all delicious. Tiny but unbelievable good dessert.

Pricey but it`s worth it for a special evening of fine dining.
Menu changes during the seasons. So you should go there at least one each season if you are nearby.
Pros: Great, cozy atmosphere. , Special food selection.
Cons: Pricey for the size of tapa, but it’s fine dining.

Food as art - Edit
Visited for my birthday recently having wanted to go for ages. We were not disappointed. We had booked for the taster menu and were presented with course after course of the most magical food. Each dish was an imaginative and beautiful work of art that tasted amazing with such intense depth of flavour. The service was exceptional with the pacing of the courses exactly right. I genuinely think this was the best food I have eaten

I came here with my parents to celebrate my graduation and it was incredible.

The restaurant itself is cosy but nicely decorated. The staff friendly.
The small plates are wonderful as you get to try and share lots of different items. The menu changes seasonally but I loved the English Sushi, croquettes and hispi cabbage.
Can’t wait to go back!
