Lovely owners and good veggie options

So happy to have veg options in Houtong! If you want vegan, make sure to specify before ordering as most dishes are served with an egg. Good dessert options too, but not all vegan. We had a cinnamon apple cheese cake (not vegan) that was absolutely delicious.

The staff are very nice and there are two resident cats who may grace you with their presence if you’re lucky!

Make sure to have cash when you visit Houtong as most places don’t take cards.

Cute cats, fancy lemonades and good food

They don’t serve plant milk (yet), but it was the only cafe serving veganisable dishes in the whole cat village! They confirmed the lions mane dish to be vegan except for the egg, which comes on the side (so had to take it out myself). Not ideal, but the food was tasty and compared to the other cafes a big plus!

Pros: No meat served , 3 very good dish options , English menu

Cons: No vegan label , No plant milk , A bit pricey
