WOW! Vegan cheese fondue again finally! - Edit
They got me at vegan cheese fondue and a Negroni!! We were so saddened when Mr. and Mrs. Watson closed down in Amsterdam, that was the first and only time I've ever been able to get vegan cheese fondue.... until now.
Read moreChandler had to remind me to take a photo when they placed the fondue in front of us, it looked so delicious. And it was every bit as good as it looked. 
Great comfortable atmosphere, ALL VEGAN, incredibly friendly owner and staff.
Our server was a 17-year-old who is vegan, the owner was very helpful in directing us to stores that might have the vegan cheeses we crave here in the Netherlands.
Because it is the colder season and they do not have the outdoor seating they did not have the seitan .which they make fresh, would have loved to try that but there was plenty more to eat.
We got the smallest version of the 3-D steak because we were afraid that it would taste too much like meat, our waiter frankly said that he didn't eat it because of that, but even as long time vegans we did enjoy it, the spices and texture were great. 
We also got the bitteballen and fries, and I ended my meal with an incredible Irish coffee with lots of whip cream, the owner made it decaf because I said that caffeinated would keep me up.
We had a really amazing time here, from the atmosphere, to the drinks, to the food, to the staff, 100% recommendation this would be on our regular list if we lived here.

Had only time for a short visit. Had a latte macchiato (oat milk) and a speculoos cheesecake, which was absolutely yummy! Nice atmosphere, really recommended!

Lovely restaurant - Edit
We had dinner here last Friday night. We were on the late side (around 9 o'clock), but the restaurant didn't mind our reservation and gladly made room for us. They just had a new menu full of tasty choices. I personally had the Malai Kofta, which tasted delicious. All in all, a lovely restaurant.

Read moreThe food is all vegan, so it's nice you do not have to worry about that, since they are pretty specialized in making things getting pretty close to what people are used to eat as non-vegan in for example a fast food.
We arrived at 16h and the staff had a break, making it like a very cold welcome with no one around.
Now when we seated on the terase without furhter instructions, we got a good and lovely welcome.
It is an amazing experience to taste what they are capable of making being all vegan.
Nice place for lunch, coffee/dessert afternoon or diner, and if you are new to vegan, a most do!

I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu. A shared dinner concept with a lot of small, different dishes to choose from. I shared the artichoke (loved it!), kimchi pancake (double loved that!) and the seitan steak (good, but quite expensive for what it is).

This place is a godsend. Only popped in here to have a sample, great peppers padron, the 3d printed steak with chimmichurri is to DIE for. Felt so guilty after having it I almost joined a monastery. I think I'm slightly high, and I don't even smoke weed.

I had the no-cheese fondue and the “death by chocolate” brownie as a treat and both were so good! Both were delicious and I want to go back and try more of the menu, if I can justify the expense before I leave The Netherlands. Nice service too!

The fusion menu covers people of all tastes - ranging from Dutch bitterballen to Thai curry. The celeriac steak my partner had was defo the standout, but I do recommend getting the bitterballen too! The burger I had wasn't mind-blowing, but what truly pushes this to a 5-star review is the exceptional service! The waitress was lovelyyy 💖

New Vegas is a 100% vegan restaurant and has a really nice variety of dishes on their menu. We were with four people and tried a lot of their dishes to share. The food is really delicious!
Read moreAs starters we had: Tomato Tartare, Redefined Beef Tataki and Bread. I didn’t really like the Tomato Tartare, but the Redefined Beef was really delicious (3D printed meat) and the bread was also delicious.
Our main dishes: Thai Glory, Rendang, Celeriac steak and the no-cheese fondue. We likes the Thai Glory the most.
As desserts we had the Speculoos cheesecake and the Death by Chocolate. Both very delicious, but for me the Death by Chocolate was the winner!
I would really recommend going here. I do hope they get new high chairs, because they were really uncomfortable.

We had the Hao You Nio Rou, the Oyster Mushroom Carpaccio, ginger ale and Creme Brulet, while the Carpaccio was tasty the Hao You Nio Rou was not my favorite. The redefined beef tasted so much like actual meat that I was doubtful it's really vegan. It had a strong taste like lamb. Later we asked the waitress and she explained that it's 3 D printed meat from soy and wheat.

First of all, it is excellent to have a vegan restaurant in Haarlem. It is quite cosy and thus offers a good place to have some food. We tried the rendang and the oyster shrimp dish. I did not like the low quantity of food. This makes the whole dish quite pricy. The rendang was kind of tasty but the shrimp dish contained too much soy sauce and as a result was quite salty. I would have preferred if this restaurant had some more challenging dishes. The menu only contains hamburgers and 3 rice dishes. I feel that there is a good base to work on but the menu needs to be improved.
