I had the fried Udon noddles and was very pleased with them! I wish I could have tried more stuff but unfortunately they had a private group that day and, therefore, closed earlier. Wanted to go again but they again had a private group that day, which is why I couldn’t try more. Make sure to check their Instagram story for potential opening hour updates such as private groups before going there, so you don’t end up in front of closed doors.

What a cute little place that may look humble from the outside but don’t let that trick you- the food is incredible!

I had the platter for one and was in heaven. The wakame side was great as well.
Please bring cash 💰 as they don’t accept card and bring some time, as it will take some time until the food will show up. (I watched a customer rushing out who was under time pressure)
Flavors are darling! Incredible textures and it’s very affordable for most Europeans.
I very much enjoyed my visit.

Tasty food, reasonable price and a good sized portion for me (the sushi didn't look like much when it arrived but it was perfect for me). They had 2 drinks available, coffee and nutmeg juice - highly recommend the nutmeg juice, it's a penang thing and has a cola kind of taste. Super delicious.

A small but interesting menu of all-vegan items all made in-house. The sushi plate for one was absolutely delicious, as was the nutmeg juice. Highly recommend. Closed on Thursdays.

Small restaurant with a lovely vibe and great music. The owner is lovely and attentive. The menu is not very extensive and prices are cheap. We ate the udon and the sushi platter for two. Very tasty, fresh and well presented. Not a huge fan of the little vegan sausages that came with the sushi, but overall it was really good, nice flavours. We tried the iced nutmeg drink and it was interesting! They didn't have many drink options and no dessert on the day we went, but definitely recommended if you are in Penang.

Tucked down an alley off the busy Lebuh Chulia street, we sat down in a tiny space and got a menu with 6 items to eat and 2 drink options. We got the curry rice with fried tofu strips and the fried noodles spicy version plus plus iced nutmeg drinks. The dishes were tasty and generous portions and the drink’s refreshing from Malay heat.

A really cute little spot in city center with a cool ambience and friendly and helpful staff. If the sign says "open" but you cannot open the door, there's a bell to the right, just ring it. :-)
Read moreThe menu is not too big but has some different alternatives to eat, which were all delicious. And really cheap. If you eat e.g. the curry and only drink the free water, you can stay within 10RM.
The daily juice (we had nutmeg juice) is also really tasty, not too sweet. Also the daily dessert is worth the money, as well as the dumplings to share.
More or less everything costs around 10RM each, what is totally worth it.
It took a bit to prepare our meals (seemed a bit underftaffed, perhaps due to Chinese New Year), but besides that everything was just awesome.
If you have the possibility, a must-go in Georgetown!

The food here is so good, they make lots of sauces in-house and is fully vegan. Service is impeccable! Location is a little difficult to find and parking might be a bit pesky, but it’s all so worth it. We had the spicy curry & sushi platter & lemon poppy muffin.

The restaurant is a bid hidden but still easy to find. Kind of weird that you have to ring a bell to get in. We ordered the Kabocha Curry rice and it was delishhhh. Full of flavour and so filling. While we were eating the staff prepared for us a sushi roll to try. For free! Omg i think it was one of the best vegan sushi I've ever had.

We loved Neko. This cute vegan spot, just off the busy Chulia Rd was the perfect escape, and we lived the friendly and genuine welcome from the owners. The curry, gyoza and sushi were all excellent and we will return for sure. Highly recommend.
