Sadly another good store closed up

A good situated place with a lot of great, clearly labelled vegan options.
Unfortunately, according to an announcement on their own website as of december 3rd, 2025 they closed their shop.
Deeply saddening news, as I only had the opportunity to go there once.

Well located, good for lunch

Went here on a Tuesday at lunchtime. We were the only people there! Had a soba noodle set which came with a salad with tasty tahini dressing, and a portion of the raw nut sushi. Noodles were delicious, nut sushi is pretty good with crunchy vegetables inside. Good to get some vegetables on our trip as it can be a bit challenging at times! Very nice staff. English menu available and clearly labelled food. Not spectacular but just what we needed at the time.

Pros: Raw vegan sushi, Noodles

Natural and thoughtfully prepared

I had the detox set meal and everything was very nice. I especially liked the veg sushi, and the salad dressing was amazing. My husband had the power salad and felt the soy meat was a bit bland, but overall we enjoyed our meal. A solid option in downtown Sapporo

Pros: Thoughtful presentation

Cons: Slightly expensive for the portion sizes

Traditional Buckwheat Soba

Delicious traditional lunch, especially good in the summer heat! Make sure to specify in your order if you want the shiitake soba tsuyu (the vegan option). Menu is available in English too.
Polite staff, relaxed atmosphere, all round a very pleasant experience! My Japanese wife loved it too!

Many vegan options but a bit bland

The menu had several vegan options, more than those containing animal products. The kitchen was a one woman show, which was impressive. Everything was fresh and there were fun dishes on the menu, but tbh it was pretty bland. Maybe i just dont have the refined japanese palette.

Yummy, but small portion size

We had the keema curry, the standard curry and the Gapao rice. We also had the blueberry tart as dessert.
Everything was tasty, but the portion size was quite small. The blueberry tart was also really really good, but tiny.
Also, the prices on the menu did not match the prices in the system, but we ended up paying the cheaper price (1500 yen vs 2000 yen).
I think for a light lunch, this is a really nice spot for vegan food. If you are quite hungry after walking around the whole day, you probably need more than one item per person, which makes it quite expensive.

Super cute restaurant with so many healthy options

All menu items, when I visited, said vegan friendly. I had the Detox set and then asked for the veggie nut sushi to take away for my bus trip the following day. The portion for the set was generous and everything was tasty and fresh. The girls are very sweet and helpful.

Pros: All healthy fresh food , Really enjoyed the veggie nut sushi , Loves they had vegan desserts

Cons: The soup was ok but not my favorite

Great find in Sapporo

At the very of end of Tanukoji, you can find this cool restaurant with lots of vegan options. Knowing that Sapporo has limited options for vegans, this was a great find. The indoor seating is good and the selection of sets is neat - the provided sets offer several small dishes on one tray. Vegan items are clearly indicated.

The curry was delicious but the rice of the salad set was tasting sour which probably was intended but wasn't exactly tasty. The rest of the main dishes and the two desserts we tried tasted good otherwise.

Worth a visit if your vegan and visiting Sapporo!

4/5 Since it's good food but just didn't have that "wow" factor.

Good food if looking for affordable vegan options in Sapporo

The food was beautiful and satisfying. Staff was friendly and love the English menu.

I think this is common with raw food, but it was very nut-heavy. The sushi didn’t feel well balanced flavor wise, and the main flavor was just like eating a mouthful of nuts.

Pros: English menu, Easy to identify vegan items, Affordable

Cons: Some foods are good, but didn’t blow us away

Delicious vegan food

We really enjoyed our lunch here. So much, that we will return again before we leave. I ordered the lunch set A - pad gaprao; my husband ordered the lunch set B - curry. Both were outstanding! Set A came with a green salad, vegetable pottage, soy gaprao, nut and vegetable sushi rolls, rosehip tea, and a delightful blueberry smoothie. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Japanese and English menus available.

Pros: Vegan food, Fresh, Healthy

Cozy and yummy food

You can really feel the love in the food they make here. In such a meat and dairy heavy city we were super stoked to find this place so close to our hotel. The food was delicious so we even went back for lunch the next day for the set lunch menu which was amazing priced.

Nutritious and Delicious! 🌿

I stumbled across Lohas when walking along the Sapporo Shopping Arcade and I'm so pleased I did. Lohas offers a handful of set meals, which included dishes for vegans and veggies. The meal was so tasty and healthy, would recommend!

Nice and filling

Everything was clearly labeled. We got the soba noodles (also gluten free) and the curry. I think the noodles were a bit more filling, also be aware that it's basically just cold noodles with soy sauce and a salad and rice, still tasty though, but next time I would take the curry or the other dish.

Pros: Clearly labeled vegan & gf, Good amount of food, Many vegan desserts

Cons: Not much veggies/protein with noodles

Not fully vegan as marked on Happy Cow

I was a little skeptical going into this restaurant because I had read some reviews saying that some of the dishes were not vegan, but this restaurant is marked as an all vegan restaurant on Happy Cow.

It turns out, my hunch was right and the shop is not 100% vegan, although it is close. This is an important distinction to make because if you go in thinking everything is vegan, you might let your guard down and order something not realizing that it isn't vegan.

My husband ordered the curry and I ordered the gapao rice. Since I was skeptical, I asked upon ordering, "is everything vegan?" and she said "no, but it can be changed to be vegan." Apparently, some of the items including the ones we were ordering usually contain seafood ingredients. We had her make it vegan - it was a good thing I asked!

The taste was good, but it wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the nut sushi the best. The hamburg in my husband's curry was very soft and didn't have much texture or bite to it.

It was kind of crowded and all of the customers were foreigners, excluding my husband. The owner was doing everything on her own, so we had to wait a bit. I would advise to avoid the lunch rush (12-1pm) if you can.

Pros: food was alright

Cons: not everything is vegan, don't let down your guard

Delicious and healthy food!

Cozy small place with yummy food! Gets you healthy and full! Food is flavourful and tastes healthy.
Remember to ask to make some sets vegan! If you go with large party and only one person is serving behind the bar, expect to wait a little bit.

I've had 3 meals here in 3 days!

I'm really glad that my hotel is close to the cafe so I can keep dropping by. So far I've ordered one lunch set, another lunch set takeaway for a road trip and a dinner. The staff is very friendly and the food is beautifully presented. The menu is fully vegan (except for one very clearly marked dashi sauce which has bonito flakes) and mostly based on raw, whole foods. The cafe is very cosy.

Pros: Fully vegan and whole food menu, Very pretty cafe with amazing staff, English lunch menu available

Nice place in the city center

It's a cosy place in the center of Sapporo. They have an English menu and as one of the previous comments stated, all dishes are vegetarian/vegan now - in one case they use fish broth, which can be exchanged.
Food was nicely served and portion was big enough. They have 3 lunch sets and desserts and take-away options.

Pros: Quality of food, Location , Cosy atmosphere

Ah upon further research it seems that restaurants thay close at 6 take last orders at 5, so arriving at 5 doesn't work!
