Nandos x Fanta spice/marinade/sauce - Edit
I haven't been to Nandos for a very long time but needed something quick to eat on a high st that had no vegan or veggie places, so Nandos it was!
Read moreAt first glance of the menu it was clear there's not a lot on the main part of the menu for vegans apart from The Great Imitator Wrap or the Spicy Rice Bowl. However if you don't mind making up a meal from the starters and sides there was more choice to be had this way although quite a pricey way of doing it.
I went for The Great Imitator Wrap choosing the Fanta spice because I love a gimmick. The wrap was quite small and looked a bit lonely on such a big plate by itself, it was crying out for some side dishes to join it, but I was just there for a light bite so a lonely wrap would have to do. The wrap was pretty good, I wasn't sure if the Fanta part was spice, sauce or a marinade, or all three, whatever it was it was quite subtle and worked surprisingly well. I liked the wrap but it was a bit pricey for the size and a bit more salad would have been good.
Would have been good to have seen more main items on the menu for vegans.
