Very Tasty

I always enjoy Nando's, and this time was no exception.

I got the great imitator wrap with sweet heat sauce and pineapple, with a side of chips and broccoli. I also had some of Purp's wrap which had lemon and herb sauce instead, and their peri peri spiced chips.

Everything was very nice, especially the broccoli. I could live on their broccoli. The sweet heat is surprisingly spicy, so be careful of that if you struggle with spice. The lemon and herb is mild.

As a side note, I think the warning that Happy Cow has at the top of every Nando's listing about the wrap not being vegan is a bit silly. This is because Nando's admit that they cannot guarantee that the lemons used to make some of the sauces do not have shellac in their coating. This is the case for almost everywhere, even the lemons you can buy in supermarkets. It's just not something that many people think about as it's unfortunately largely unavoidable. So I feel that this warning should either be on every single listing that uses citrus fruit in some capacity, or it shouldn't be there at all, as at the moment it's just excluding Nando's for something that would apply to many restaurants, cafés, and bakeries. Nandos are consistently good

Me and GC couldn't resist getting some nandos after passing so many of them.

We both got the great imitator wrap with 2 sides.

I got it with lemon & herb sauce,l and pineapple. For the sides I got peri-salted chips and tenderstem broccoli.

GC got sweet heat sauce and pineapple, regular chips and tenderstem broccoli.

Great meal, very fresh and the broccoli was delicious as always.

And cost was about £30 so not the worst.

Pros: Broccoli, Wrap was tasty, consistent quality
